vid20, I would like to shake your hand. It was an honor to work with Jayck and Jyill, and I can't shake the feeling that I won by a bare margin. Well done sir; I look forward to seeing you next war.

Marvelous work, everyone. I look forward to seeing you all again, in the next set of rounds or in the next RW.

Have you got the next match-ups Sorrow?

I suspected you would win. Thank you for the competition, and thank you for letting them die together.. its the way they would have wanted to go *sniff's*

Dammit. I had hoped to be able to write some before I had to go back to school, but it looks like I'll be going for at least half a day tomorrow.

Grats to Zemalac. I didn't know who to pull for there, because I like both Vid and Zemalac, and would love for Malcolm to have a chance to face either.

I doubt I advance again though. Oh well, we'll see.

In 2 weeks, I'll be going on holiday. I will have no access to the internet for 18 days after that, so my round may be an issue.

Is there the possibility that we could have my next round shortly or, if possible, we can delay/extend my round for about a week or two? I'm sure I can write it during the trip, but I want to know what everyone else thinks.

Well, we're down to six.
Due to an odd number of winners in this round, I am requesting a COMPLETELY NON-LETHAL ROUND.
The vacant fourth spot will be occupied by one of the losers, to be decided by the judges.
SO HERE ARE THE THREE FIGHTS.

Devon Warner vs. Malcolm Lynch
Location: Earthly: HOSTAGE SITUATION
We're here in wonderful, sunny Iraq, in a most wonderful abandoned hotel. In one of the rooms on one of the floors is a whole lot of innocent people next to a bomb. Hunt each other down; if one or the other isn't incapacitated within ten minutes, boom.
And don't try to find the people. We're watching, and we have the detonator.

The DJ vs. Lady Athena and Axle
Location: Earthly: BURN THE HOUSE DOWN
Chicago. 1871. Enough said.

Emanuel Cazinto vs. Mort and the Fae
Location: Hellish: GRAVEYARD OF THE FALLEN
What happens to gods when people don't believe in them anymore?
They die, just like the rest of us. Only these guys go WAY down south.
It's a great field, with headstones stories tall and dozens of meters wide.
But watch where you go and don't bump the wrong headstone. Divine energy tends to linger, and what it does all depends on whose it is.

Ten days, ladies and gents.

Awesome. Logician.

I can't tell if I'm excited to fight such a glorious opponent, or really depressed and disappointed that I won't be in the Semi-Finals.

Krunk, I would like to break one of your rules if I may. The DJ is, for lack of a better descriptor, one of the Old Powers, just as Lady Athena is. It only makes sense to me that he would know her, perhaps even have a history of some sort with her. Of course, this would be true in reverse as well. Would that be OK with you?

Hmm, I don't have any problem with that, and I can see what Athena would do in this case. I had a potential battle with you prepared, but the recent complication of 'no deaths' has rendered it impossible. So I'll have to rewrite anyway.

Let's do this, Void Rules. No one dies, but no one gets out unscarred.

Oh, by the way, can I get links to all your writings so far? It would be a great help.

Mine are on my first post on the front page. I'm pretty sure I've got them all there, but I may have missed one.

If it makes it any easier, you can't really kill the DJ without entirely eliminating music from the universe. You could destroy this manifestation of him, but he'd return.

Man, I wish we would have had the Graveyard. Two of the Old Ones battling amongst the graves of their fallen fellows. It would have been Epic, maybe even Ultra.

I will have to dig for them. I'll get them tomorrow. Ping me if I don't.

Oh, I wasn't necessarily intending to kill The DJ, but to absorb him, much like the others. It doesn't kill them, but traps them in a kinda nightmare dimension where their very essence fuels The Hunger constantly. The more food (or Essence), the stronger she gets. As you already know, Athena now harbours inside her the Horseman of War.

Fair enough, thanks for that.

By the way, I did miss one piece: my second round. It's up on Page 1 now.

That's the third person to regard the announcement of fighting me with a tentative *gulp*. I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

In any case, may the better man win. Don't count yourself out yet, Dastardos; I've lost twice to Ultrajoe, so I'm not invincible.

Apologies Abound

I wanted Zemalac though. I wanted to remove his character's vocal cords out.

Then how would he be telling the story later?
