1: fair enough
2: Those graphics still aren't as good as WOW.
3: So less of a need for skill is a good thing?
Less of a need for skill is a good thing is your not a full on Gamer.
I don't Game much on the PC anymore Runescape is the perfect mmo for me cause i don't need to gain a skill to be able to become decent at it.
Having graphics for runescape over wow is ridiculous. yeah they might be better than what they were when they started but so are wow, the fact that you are even comparing them to begin with is ludacris.
you are totally overlooking:
PvP
Economy
Community
talents
abilities
professions
auction houses
guilds
teamwork
expansions
patches
And there are many more points i could list but i just cant be bothered.
Your argument that there is no skill involved completely voids your argument that you can be a casual player and still be good. You have to spend all of your time getting your stats and gear up therefore the person who plays the most will win.
The fact that any character can max all skills is stupid. It takes away any individuality. Again the person that spends the most time playing getting all of their skills up will inevitably be the best.
I am a casual wow player, i log on to do 10 arenas a week and more of i feel like it, because of this i am gradually building up my glad gear which doesn't take up all of my life to get. I much prefer pvp to pve but now that there are end game 10 man raids a lot more casual players are experiencing end game content they wouldn't otherwise have had the oppurtunity. You can prefer to play pve, pvp or just level various characters as a casual player in wow and still be good at the game.
