Right, i suppose this links to one of my previous posts; so what do you guys think is the saddest moment in any game youve ever played? Endings dont count though!

For me, Gears of War 2 wins it i reckon, when you find [is it Dom's? I dont remember his name!] wife and he has to mercy kill her. that was really upsetting.

Anyone agree? or have any worse moments? :O

If you haven't played Fatal Frame 3 or Project Zero 3 for Europeans, don't read the next sentence.

Easy: Miku's last mission in Fatal Frame 3 if you choose to follow her brother into hell.

Mate, learn how to use spoilers. You're gonna get flamed otherwise. :/

When Emma died and Otakon's speech while she's dying. It's the only video game moment that's ever made me cry.

In true fanboy style, gotta be the end of disc 1 of FFVII. Easily the saddest thing i've seen in a game.
And anyone who's played it would get it but why give a spoiler you know?

I can't really remember the saddest moment I've seen but really Gears? That game was one of the most emotionally dead things I've ever played.

Hah... That bit made me laugh my head off. She looks like a crackwhore.

I'll say Final Fantasy X, there are a lot of moments that are fucking sad.

probably in Lost Odyssey when
Lirum dies and you have to watch an emotionally jaded man and his two grandchildren burst into tears. Much sadder than Aeris' death.

Or Seth's backstory in Lost Odyssey. That was pretty damn sad.

I will go with Saint's Row 2
When Carlos is taken by the Brotherhood and dragged by a car. You end up having to put him out of his misery, after you stop the car. I felt bad for him, he was a cool guy.
