Every time the Robot Unicorn dies. The tears... Dear god, the tears...

Half-life 2, anyone?
Yeah, I wasn't even a fan of the game and that thing I'm assuming you're talking about hit me deep.

He was my favorite god damn character! The only character I actually liked! Now the only thing I have to look forward to the next game is extracting my vengeance and those Valve bastards wont release it!

The whole Bioshock 2 story. With subject Delta and Elanor...made me tear up.

But Gears 2. Everybody should know why I say that. Don't wanna give away spoilers. Poor Dom. Real game I actually cried at.

When you discover Tim himself is the monster his Princess ran away from.

For a game so incredibly difficult, that kind of moved me.

I will have to concur with shophius and say the part where in OoT Link left the Kokiri Forest. Pretty impressive for 64-bits.

Also, the next-to-ending of Killer 7. On the hotel rooftop.

And in Deadly Premonition- the whole scene before taking on the final boss - I dunno, I must be mental, but that was bizarrely jarring and saddening. Not quite totears, but definately more of an emotional pull than what I felt in anything else I've played in the last five years. Because I'm crazy like that.

this... absolutely this... It's the only videogame moment that got me close to cry. Even though I didn't... I think I'm kinda robot...

FFX that is all.
Also heavy rain.
Those games were very emotionly engaging.
Oh yes KH2 where
Axel dies. 'Your dying!' 'Yeah, that's what happens when you put your whole being into a attack.' He just acted so... Casual that's what got to me.

Drakengard 2. Got a couple moments from that game. Hell, it's the most depressing game in existence, if you ask me.

When Urick sacrifices his life to defeat Caim and to destroy the district key

and

The scene after you beat Angelus, where she and Caim die together.
