That red screened enemy that popped up when starting my old PS2 from time to time.

"Can't read this disc, please insert a playstation disc."

....scary.
Wow, me too! the thing that added to the creepy was the music and it way REALLY bad at night and you were not expecting it.
Anyhoo, I think it was my first visit to Mr. Deathclaw
I never had that, my discs always worked :p

And the deathclaws were a little scary back in the days :p (more than a little)

Either Nemesis (RE3) or Pyramid Head (SH2), they both scared the hell out of me when I first played those games. I think Pyrmid Head takes the award though because over the years Nemesis has become more cool than creepy to me while PH remains freaky as hell.

Good. It's fucking sick.

These guys disturb the fuck out of me.
Arguably one of the best monster designs EVER.
What game is that from? Sorry for the double post.

WOAH WTF IS THAT THING?!?!?!
It's a monster from Silent Hill 2.
It's supposed to be a manifestation of Angela's fears after having been sexually abused as a child by her father.
Was her father born by a couple of imbreds by any chance >.<

i found the deerhaunter in TimeSplitters future perfect to be pretty scary
this is a bad picture of him though:

This is a little better, but you have to skip to 5:35...
I used to have nightmares where I was chased by that thing... : (

A 6 year old kid seeing this for the first time can lead to pants shitting horror.
It was probably just the primitive graphics, but still, even a hardcore Nintendo vet can admit there's something a little off putting about N64 era Bowser.

Anything from Silent Hill (especially the enemies from 2 till 4, the enemies from the 1st game never scared me) because its what they symbolise and the overall atmosphere that also adds to how creepy they are. I also think that Dr.Loboto is pretty damn freaky as well as the butcher (especially when spliced with Raz's dad) from Psychonauts. Nemesis was scary when I first played Resi 3, but I got desensitized to him over time, because its one of my dad's favourite games so when I was growing up, it was strange going through a Friday, Saturday night without hearing SSSSSTTTTTTTAAAAAAARRRRRRRSSSS coming from the kitchen.

Jenova when you first see her in Final Fantasy VII in that chamber thing.
And when you go back later with all the blood on the floor. I've played that game so many times and that bit always gives me the chills.

That and the zombies from Resident Evil. I've never been able to play those games without wetting my pants. Not even at a specific bit, I'm just constantly on edge when playing it.

There are two that come to mind first there was one enmey in dead space that you coudn't kill be normal means( Using the weapons in your invotory) and untill you get to the area you can actally beat it the game will lock you in a room where you forced to confront it along with waves of normal enmies and will only let you go once you beat said normal enimes and then when you finally think your rid of it the monster appears agian later in the game in a room you basicaly trapped yourself in a very tense and very scary momet. The second are those regenaters you encoter in Resdient evil four not only are they very hardy to kill( at least untill you get the special weapons for beating the game) They also make this really crepy sound that let's you know there near by that sounds like a comabantion of deep breathing and laughing

GLaDOS is terrifying, I feel like the only person that saw past the lovable "the cake is a lie" and saw the horrifying "the cake is a lie"

I shall elaborate: The cake is a lie is written in blood on walls by people who have been killed by an insane AI, Destroyed by their own technology.
Oh no. I got that the very moment she started hinting that she intended to kill me, but saying it in a way that hid her malice behind a facade of encouragement and guidance.

Cynthia's ghost in Silent Hill 4. ._. Scares the crap out of me. I don't like ghosts anyways (yet I love Fatal Frame) and she's just freaky.

And also, Corroder from Clock Tower 3. I'm not really sure why he freaks the crud out of me.

It looks like a hooved swimmer, with a giant penis and massive bingo-wings, trapped inside a table.

Although I get the feeling I'm missing something...
