I'll likely be adding a lot to this thread, but for now I'll leave these small anecdotes:

One afternoon after school, I was on the computer as usual, neglecting my schoolwork with music playing. It was Heaven Torn Asunder by Cradle of Filth, for what good that does the story. Not a very well known song.
Anyway, I got a phone call in the other room, and picked it up about two rings in. On the other end, I heard "Thank you for holding", then the music that I had going, at the exact same part, before I heard some shuffling around like somebody was going through some drawers. That went on for another five seconds before the other end hung up.
Reading it over, it probably doesn't make a lot of sense, and was likely something that you had to be there to witness.

A second story happened in my old room. Now, in this room, for whatever reason, I have trouble sleeping. A lot of other people do too, and people who stay over pretty often request not to be situated in that room. For some reason, things look like they're moving, even with the lights on, and you either can't stay asleep or have horrible nightmares.
Now, what I'm about to jot down here happened around four years ago.
In that room, I was asleep one night. I heard my dresser drawer open, which made me bolt up. It has a bit of a screech when it opens, so you can hear it pretty well.
When I did, I heard something shatter, and the dresser drawer slam shut. I turned on my light, and the lamp that was formerly by my bedside was thrown at my closet door, and my drawer was stuck from being slammed shut too hard.
That's pretty cool, did you ever find out what really happened?
With the first one, never. It didn't happen again after that either.

With the second one, double never. There was a whole week with stuff being broken/thrown for no adequately explained reason though.

This thread never dies! What's scary is the fact that no matter how much you don't want to click on this thread, you do anyway.

I think it's because this thread is pure evil.
yeah, every time I see it at the side of my screen, it's just so tempting to click on it, then see how long I can stay on it before I clicked off it in fear.

like just before on page 18, I scrolled down to a mindfuck pic, and in a futile attempt to escape it before I realised what was hidden inside the pic, I scrolled down the page really quickly, only to find several quotes on that mindfuck pic. I weeped and closed down the entire web browser :(

One of the pictures there just... ugh.

I don't get nightmares because scary things in dreams make me happy and I love horror. But... when I'm scared I don't sleep. I can't sleep.

Welcome back...

My mothers fucking cats shitted all over the place, after cleaning it all up I threw them out. Now they were young and never been out side but I thought nothing of it. Later I tried finding them to bring them in, because I kept hearing them they were noisy little buggers. Though it was a single faint little meow, it was ghostly almost and I would only hear in when absored in the middle of something, which of course would snap me right out of it and make me look for them. I thought nothing of it, just thought they wanted in. It's been a year now and we haven't seen them once, really upsetted my mother I keep telling hear there still around, I still hear them after all.

One of my personal favorite creepy pasta stories:

A man went to a hotel and walked up to the front desk to check in. The woman at the desk gave him his key and told him that on the way to his room, there was a door with no number that was locked and no one was allowed in there. Especially no one should look inside the room, under any circumstances. So he followed the instructions of the woman at the front desk, going straight to his room, and going to bed.

The next night his curiosity would not leave him alone about the room with no number on the door. He walked down the hall to the door and tried the handle. Sure enough it was locked. He bent down and looked through the wide keyhole. Cold air passed through it, chilling his eye. What he saw was a hotel bedroom, like his, and in the corner was a woman whose skin was completely white. She was leaning her head against the wall, facing away from the door. He stared in confusion for a while. He almost knocked on the door, out of curiosity, but decided not to.

This disinclination saved his life. He crept away from the door and walked back to his room. The next day, he returned to the door and looked through the wide keyhole. This time, all he saw was redness. He couldn?t make anything out besides a distinct red color, unmoving. Perhaps the inhabitants of the room knew he was spying the night before, and had blocked the keyhole with something red.

At this point he decided to consult the woman at the front desk for more information. She sighed and said, ?Did you look through the keyhole?? The man told her that he had and she said, ?Well, I might as well tell you the story. A long time ago, a man murdered his wife in that room, and her ghost haunts it. But these people were not ordinary. They were white all over, except for their eyes, which were red.?

Also, if this thread is getting too creepy for you, here's [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIsh1J4FbKU] a palette cleanser of sorts to help you sleep better (it's a video of a cute little girl).
Why... Why did you do that to me. :3

Sweet juniper bush, I love this stuff. I just marathoned this whole thread in one sitting. The only downside is now my inner-Slenderman is all depressed, cause he doesn't feel creepy enough now.
