Dragon Age: Origns, I'll explain. Every review, even Yahtzee, bring up that DA:O is a fucking long game, 50 to 60 hours. Well, I've beaten it 3 times, every play-through coming in under 25 hrs. I know I'm not missing half the game, I checked. I've done everything there is to do in the main (non DLC) game besides the job board quests. I can't see those taking over 30 hrs to do.
I'm the same. The IGN review claimed 150 hours was not even the total sum of the game. I'm approaching the end game and at 20 hours... bull-sheet...

StarFox 64 always takes the cake, here.

Can always complete that game somewhere under 2 hours.

assasin's creed brotherhood. time seemed to pass so fast i barely had the chance to immerse myself into the gameplay before it was over
IKR?

It's actually quite long if you do all the side missions, but it seems really short because like its predecessor, the game doesn't really pick up until halfway through because you spend your first half doing tutorials and gaining all your equipment.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories...
I swear, I started around noon, crashed some cars, did the story, crashed some more cars, shot some hookers, and got in a few epic cop chases, but it wasn't even 6:00 yet. My PS2 and I were so disappointed that we couldn't even enjoy running over old ladies, racing cops around town a few times, and driving off a cliff into the ocean. That's when I decided that GTA: Vice City Stories was going to be a better game no matter what.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

Seriously, the game has no middle act, it goes straight from the first act to the third. Surely basic storytelling conventions dictate that doing that fudges the pacing royally.

Shame they apparently canned The Force Unleashed III already already, I wanna know what happens :(

Nascar 2000 on the GBC... beat it on the way home from the store, approx. 45 min. Worst game I've ever bought.

first portal, I beat it in 48 minutes, and I have seen someone beat it in 10(but they where useing glitches)
I don't count Portal. It didn't have a multimillion dollar team behind it from whom you'd expect 20+ hours of game. It could either have been good, or long, but not both. Fortunately, they did the right thing.

Seems a lot of game companies these days more focusing on the engine / graphics then how long game is. So many games are so short. I guess here are some of my...

Section 8 around 3 hours
Dungeon Siege III around 7 hours
Hunted the demon forge was a little short as well but fun.

I guess longest game I've ever played in single player was Elder scroll: morrowind around 650 hours + I think I played it for.
