So my friend is playing Red Dead:Undead Nightmare for the first time on his roommate's Xbox. A fan of 2d fighting games, fps's, and the occasional racing sim, he's not great with the Grand Theft Equine style of gameplay; he's having trouble with the weapons select menu and camera. During the tutorial, his zombie family is kicking his ass before he can even put a pair of pants on it.
Upon finally subduing his family, he hits the road on his way to the nearest town. Just outside of town, he dismounts and goes off on foot to try and take a look around. In no time, he is mobbed by zombies and is flailing away at the controls, randomly swooshing the camera around, taking fast aim then whistling for horses, trying to knock back the nearest walking dead by lassoing the dirt near their feet and trying to reload his bare-knuckled hands. My friend was completely surrounded by 360° of dead, his own death being slowed only because the game engine couldn't seem to decide which of the walkers was closest and therefore deserved to take a swing at him.
Luckily, one of the horses he erroneously whistled for finally arrived, just as he finally got his weapons select menu to at last fork over the weapon he'd been fumbling for: the trusty six shooter. He closes the menu, spins on his heel, and delivers the cleanest head shot he'd made in the game thus far. I think anyone reading this can guess what wound up catching the bullet?
