Where you escape from that thing in mass effect 2 at the end, and get to see the incoming reapers.

The ending of half life 2 episode 2 is pretty damn awesome too, along with the fight before it. Though I will admit that the first time I saw the ending, I looked away, then my curiosity got the best of me and I looked on in horror.

Totally didn't call my dad afterward to make sure he was okay.

That's enough to make me want to play the game...I have to admit

I'd say the Nuke in CoD4. Because it's not just how it happens, it's what happens after it. It doesn't just let you watch it from an invisible camera, it puts YOU in the shoes of the soldier, it emotionally involves you, stunned, shocked, awed, at what you just witnessed

The ending to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl... it was fast and exhilarating that dipped into the creepy super natural elements and frighting atmosphere at the very end to finish off what is one of my most favorite games ever... even if I did die close to 20 times on the ending alone...<.<

The Hydra in the first God of War and realising they have to get better from there.
The fucking Hydra!!!

First boss!!!

C'mon!!!!
It was pretty amazing level... I remember calling my flatmate in to show her how amazing the graphics looked. She was like 'uh huh'. Lol.

Pandora's Temple was a magic moment in that game too. So damn epic.
It's been pretty relentless for 5 games, dunno how they'll top it when they announce the next one.

It's hard to pick. On one hand, spraying poo in the city of Stillwater in Saints Row 2, on the other hand, the death of Eli Vance in HL2:E2, and then there's the massive combos I've personally made in Mortal Kombat:Armaggedon. I can't choose.

First time I saw a regenerator in RE4. I turned that one damned corner, (You're nodding your head in understanding already, I can feel it) screamed for the 20 seconds it takes to empty the tmp, shot off one of it's leg and watched with numb fascination as it dry humped me to death.
Games just don't do this anymore. And that is sad.

Punching "GOD" into the sun in Bayonetta

just WOW!
Actually, I'm pretty sure that's Jesus, not GOD, but still mega-awesome whichever it is.
I'd probably have to say this, as nothing is was as cool.

Although stripper-dance fighting joy until she reveals herself with an orgasm was pretty strange yet epically so.
(That will only make sense if you have played the game)

I admit to being very amused while playing Fallout 3 and fighting my way through the Raider home base. I found the merchant in the basement, and *literally* stole everything he owned, then sold it back to him to get more caps so I could buy up all of his ammo.

Here, buy all your junk back and give me your ammo. Also, I'm taking whatever is in the safe. SHUT UP.

The ending of Mass Effect 2 was just all around frakking awesome, from the moment you enter the Omega-4 relay to when the Normandy is flying away from the exploding Collector base. The fact that it had a mindblowingly kick ass soundtrack might have helped a little.

H2E2 was awesome in a horribly tragic way, just the feeling of helplessness and despair you get from watching it happen. I couldn't even believe it.

Say what you want about Force Unleashed II, but it contains, without a doubt, the best, most satisfying moment in all of gaming ever.

And here it is, in glorious endless repeat.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist.
That's not good... that's sad...poor little Ewok

Back to the topic: I can't really decide so i guess I will go with the newest game I got. Heavy Rain, any of those really quick button mashing scenes where you are in a tense fight with some buff dude.

That time I was playing Animal Crossing, fishing happily and a balloon floated overhead... I shot it down and got a lava lamp thing! Man, that was one swell day.

I'll just leave this here.

OMG that is hilarious.
Also that woman is the worst I've seen of in-game graphics.
Do they all look like that?
As I recall, yeah. The men look halfway normal, but the women... yeesh.

It's too hard to choose my favourite Alistair moment from Dragon Age.

An obvious one, but hey it's my favorite.

Spoilers, obviously.
Apart from all of the CoD moments, that one.

Holy shit, is that narration awesome. And the music... masterpiece.
