"Just don't think about it and you'll be fine". Don't think about it? How can I not think about something that is upsetting me? I envy people who can seemingly shut down entire brain functions on a whim. I've got a really obsessive personality, so a lot of the time I tend to get hung up on smaller details, and I just start to pick everything apart and start driving myself nuts. I hate it, I would like nothing more than to just "stop doing it", but I can't control it.
