We've all had those days, days when nothing seems to go right.

What are the small things that make your day just that little less crappy?


Me?

A hot shower and a hot cup of tea.

Nothing washes away my daily troubles better than a hot, steamy shower and the liberal application of Old Spice (it makes me smell like the man your man could smell like).

As for the cup of tea? Well I'm British.

I'm legally obligated to drink copious amounts of tea, and bloody enjoy it damn it!

Well when I'm down in the dumps, it's really hard for me to feel good again.
I suppose if someone emptied a box full of kittens I'd be very happy for the next week.
Being alone or with animals usually cheers me up. I was out tonight but left early because I feel so lousy and crappy. I was trying to have a laugh and forcing a smile for people but it's difficult sometimes, especially when your day just keeps getting worse.

Irn Bru sure is the best soft drink ever. I love that stuff. I'm pretty sure in my second year of uni I single handedly helped Barr meet it's sales forecasts.

For me the thing that never fails to cheer me up is music. Or a nice beer. Not getting drunk, just a singular beer, or a nice cider on a hot day.

Edit - I also agree with people saying hot baths or showers. They are awesome too.
