The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

It's morning time (irl and in the roleplay)! Time to start up a new...chapter? Arc? Anyways...what exciting new thing will our band of heroes have to deal with? Stay tuned~~!

Garrus opened his eyes once the alarm clock started buzzing, hitting it to get it to stop. He checked his phone and noticed a few messages. Once he was done reading them he got rid of it and got up. Changing into his normal day-wear he exited his room, stumbling slightly from the head rush he got.

"Thanks A. That's all I need to know." he said to Aaron before retreating to his room.

"Primitive? Hotter than average? That's different." He thought to himself as he laid down.

The next morning, Jason awoken, but this time without a jolt. Rubbing his head, he trudged to the bathroom to begin his morning rituals. After changing into clothes, he made his way downstairs for breakfast.

"Hey Dona, you're up earlier than usual." He said as he quickly noticed her in the kitchen.

As he prepared his breakfast, the words "Primitive", "Rage", and "Consumption" danced around his mind. But what did they mean?

Garrus yawned, bumping into Jason by accident when he walked into the kitchen. "Sorry about that. I have this killer headache this morning," Garrus apologized as he went to the cabinet for painkillers.

"Should be doing better now. How are you guys today?" he asked as he grabbed some orange juice from the fridge and poured himself a glass.

"Well it's not like crimes and disasters are planned for us, we just have to wait to see if anything happens," Garrus explained to her, "So we wait for the call. Need to be prepared at any moment to put ourselves in harm's way and all that jazz."

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie stayed in bed for a few minutes after waking up; it was comfortable just lying there listening to the light rustle of the plants around her. Plus the strange effects of last night's wine were gone, so she was feeling good. Eventually her stomach got the better of her need for relaxation, so she got up, dressed in a medium-length skirt and a t-shirt, and entered the Promenade's kitchen for breakfast.

"Morning, all," she said cheerfully, taking a couple of pieces of bread and putting them in the toaster. While waiting for her toast, she walked over to Jason and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "What's up?" she asked. "Something wrong, or...?"

"Everything is fine. Just waiting for everyone to wake up is all. And I guess waiting to see if anything comes up anytime soon too," Garrus added, looking at the newspaper that was in the middle of the table.

Aaron really didn't feel like getting up. It took him a couple of minutes until he actually woke up. He got dressed and noticed that his wardrobe was getting a little small. He decided it was going be time to go shopping.

He entered the kitchen where a couple of the guys where eating breakfast," Who's up for a trip?"

Jason was so lost in his thought, that he didn't notice anything around him until Katie kissed him.

"Wha? Oh, morning Katie." He replied, snapping out of his train of thought.

"Nothing's wrong, i'm just a little stumped, that's all." He said, giving her his undivided attention.

 

[CounterAttack]

"Is it about your armour?" Katie asked. "You asked me if you'd done anything at the McDonald's. Do you think... you might be losing control of the Key?" She remembered Jason explaining it on their date, and shuddered in her mind at the idea of him turning into some kind of beast. No-one deserved a fate like that.

"I don't know. I remember sitting next to you, and I remember holding your hand. Then the next thing I know, I'm laying in the middle of the street with the armor battle damaged, and some blood covered guy charging towards me." Jason says, with a slight tone of worry while taking Katie by the hand.

"I'd rather not think about losing control of the Key, and you shouldn't either. I don't wanna worry you or anyone else about it, okay?" He asked before smiling.

Richard up and got dressed before heading down and getting breakfast. He sat down to eat with some waffles and a glass of milk before speaking.

"So, anyone willing to join me in searching through old records of the Society followed by searching through missing persons for anyone out of the ordinary?" He jokingly asked.

 

[tsatoma]

"No thanks," Garrus said abruptly, looking up from the paper before looking back down. "And Aaron what kind of trip do you mean? Acid trip? Road trip? I need more details than that."

 

[Souldemon8]

"I got some busniess in Italy and I bet the team could use a chagne of scenary for a while. The expenses would be on me so the only thing you guys would need would be your bodies. So who's up for it?" Aaron explained.

 

[CounterAttack]

"Yeah, you're probably right," Katie answered, giving Jason's hand a gentle squeeze. The toaster finished, and she said, "Scuse me, breakfast calls." She transferred her toast to a plate and quickly buttered both pieces while they were still hot enough to melt the butter. Toast in hand, she sat at the table and started eating.

"Really Aaron? Going to another country when something bad could happen here? It's a no for me," Garrus told him with a disapproving shake of his head.

Khrys woke up from her nap and stretched, getting herself dressed she settled for lose sweatpants and a hoodie for now. Coming into the room and smiles saying "Good morning everyone." Helping herself to some scrambled eggs and ham, with some oj, before finding a spot at the table to sit down and digging in, apparently no worse for the drinking earlier.

"Hey Khrys wouldnt' you want to take a vacation?" Aaron asked a she walked in.

Garrus finished drinking his orange juice and placed it in the dishwasher. He was about to take a seat again before his phone started ringing.

"Cillian. Might be something for us to do! I'll go see," he told everyone as he exited the kitchen to talk privately.
