The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

Katie was a little puzzled by the question. "I don't actually know. Tommy's note didn't say," she said. "Maybe they provide some sort of defence or something. He said I should put some around my room as well." After a few moments of thinking, she said, "Yeah, it's probably a defensive measure. If so, hopefully they'll keep unwanted visitors out."

As they stepped into the gardens, Katie took one of the seeds from the bag. "Let's just test one out," she mused, detaching herself from Jason. She dug a little hole in the ground with her hands, gently pushed the seed into it and covered it with the dirt. Katie then touched the patch of ground with a finger, unsure what to expect.

At this point Captainguy should describe what the seed grows into.

The seed quickly germinated under Katie's influence, growing a stem, then leaves, and finally a bud. As it matured the sepals of the bud split and revealed the flower inside, it looked like a yellow tulip, however the petals staid together, forming an enclosure. After that the petals opened very slightly, enough for Katie to see the glint of two eyes and hear a slight giggle, before the petals closed shut again.

Jason's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the flower.

"Woah! did you see that?" Jason said to Katie before turning back to the flower.

"Hey there little guy, oh don't be scared of us, we're your friends." Jason cooed at the flower, in an attempt to coax it back out.

The petals opened again, but instead of eyes a tongue came out and blew a raspberry at Jason, before retreating quickly with another giggle.

Inside the Promenade Tommy was starting to wonder how big the Promenade was, he had been wandering around for a while now and he was still finding more places to explore.

"Let me try," Katie said. She sat down and tentatively reached towards the flower with one finger, not intending to use her powers on it. But then, she could grow it to ten times her height if she wanted to. Perhaps these seeds grow to become sentient creatures, she thought. Tommy has clearly done some amazing work to produce such a result.

The flower opened up, a pair of eyes looked at the finger, then Katie. There was another giggle, then the flower opened up completely, revealing a minature women, who was connected to the flower at the pistil. She smiled and curtseyed before making the petals fold back up.

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie froze, a little shocked. "Whoa... that was more than I expected," she murmured. "Maybe we should leave that one alone for a while, and plant the rest of these." She got up and took a handful of seeds out of the bag, then offered it to Jason. "I'll start planting these around my room. You take some and place them evenly around the gardens," she said. "Sound good?"

I'm going to be out for most of the night, so you may not want to rely on Tommy interacting that much today.

Aaron finished up with his breakfast. The basic pancakes and orange juice. He decided that he was going to head to the gym to get some exercise. He quickly changed into his work out clothes and decided to start off slolwy. He made his way onto the treadmill. He cranked the setting to as high as it would go and started running.

"Yeah, shouldn't be too hard." Jason said to Katie as she poured the seeds into his hand.

Once they separated, Jason looked around, in search of clear patches of dirt. As he found a patch, he placed a seed in the ground. He stands up straight, happy at what he did.

"Y'know, this "planting" thing isn't hard at all!" He says with a accomplished look on his face. Soon after, he began to look for more open patches of dirt.

Richard had finished going through the current group's files and the first generation. He checked the fourth generation's files out of sheer interest, and the first because he wanted to get a good baseline for what to expect from completed records. He knew neither generation was responsible for his missing documents, so they both could make decent baselines if the current generation had already completed. That only left the second and third generations, he figured he may as well follow the time line and began flipping through the files of the second generation.

Yay a few posts when I got back! Sorry I was gone for most of the day (visiting family). Tomorrow I'll be having friends coming over, but I should still be able to post a bit (my friends usually like to 'help out' when it comes to my posts).

Katie laughed quietly to herself as she worked. Sure, planting the seeds was the easy part. It was taking care of the lives in the gardener's hands that was difficult. Or, well, it would be if Katie was an average girl. Without her power she was completely ineffective, as she had found out in the meeting with Leland. She resolved to carry her blade at all times during missions, even if it was a simple confrontation. It could be concealed easily, under a jacket or something.

Soon enough she had finished planting seeds strategically around her room, and she began to plant more close to the Promenade's gates, path and front door.

Richard flipped through the files of generation two when he saw a file that was slightly peculiar. He would show it Garrus later to see if he could illuminate it for him. In the meantime however he went back to his room and grabbed his briefcase before heading back down and placing the file in the briefcase. He went back to flipping through files. He thought he may be able to get a lead from the file in the case.

"Find anything?"

Simon asked Richard as he made his way into the records room. He had a plate of pancakes with him and a glass of orange juice.

"It didn't seem like you had eaten yet so I thought I'd bring you some breakfast, a thank you for getting me to the infirmary. And don't worry, the pancakes have butter and blueberries stirred into them so you won't get anything sticky onto your files"

"I had some cereal, but that wasn't all too filling. So thank you." Richard said as he grabbed the plat and glass and placed them on the file cabinet.

"I found out some stuff. Flipped through all of our files already. Read that you thought about evil and dislike a bruised ego, Aaron joined for a cheap thrill, how hostile I was in the first few days, and just how long Garrus has already been apart of the Society. I also went back through the files of the first generation. So far it hasn't been too bad. Not a whole lot of information that really helps though." Richard said as he began to eat and took a seat at a nearby table.

"Yeah...I may have gone a bit overboard with my application"

Simon replied with an embarrassed chuckle

"Anyways, I'm probably going to head over to the Nova City library to see if I can find anything in the archives there. You want me to look for anything for you?"

"Just look and see if there are any child prodigies who later went missing. That or scientists or engineers who mysteriously disappeared or died and the body was never found. Suicides where no body is found would be something of interest as well." Richard said.

Ah what a beautiful day~~! Hope we can get some stuff done before I get distracted by friends.

Garrus picked up a few fallen pictures and put them back up on the wall. The museum had been slightly wrecked from the earthquake that had happened a few days ago, and Garrus had been taking the time to fix it up. He was still working on the First Generation section (not realizing just how much damage there had been), but was almost done.

"And then we continue moving along and then the tourists can come back in and visit...lovely," he muttered.
