The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

"Rich it's no big deal, if you're gonna ask it you can just ask here," Garrus said, knowing that hiding anything would just cause unwanted and unneeded suspicion.

"I have no qualms with whatever you're going to ask," Leland said quite distracted by what Katie had just said. "So uh yeah. And to answer your question it's less of a 'change of heart' and more of a 'I realized what I did was kinda wrong so I want to make up for it' type of deal."

Aaron had made a stop at a nearby pool. It had taken him a couple of mintues to recollect himself after getting shot in the chest and shoulder. After he healed he noticed everyone had left him so he decided to make his way back to the Promenade. Instead of driving back he decided he was going to slide back to the Promenade.

As he approached the Promenade he felt a pain all over his body.

"Fuck not aga...," Aaron started before his ice slide disapper from underneath him. As Aaron fell his ice armor slowly melted off his body. He crashed through the ceiling of the Promeande and hit the floor with a thud crushing the table underneath.

"Alright, I'm just never one to ask personal things in public. If you want me to though, I have no objections. When I was searching through the files in the records room, I came across a name in the second generation heroes' section." Richard opened the briefcase and took out the file he had place in there when he had searched the cabinet.

"The name was Camille Claidt, now I know you two have to be related. The question is what is this relation and why have you not mentioned this. Obviously, there is something going on here, or else you would have mentioned the relation sooner as you have done with knowing Patriot and Cillian." Richard said before Aaron fell through the ceiling.

"Well shit, he fixes it," Richard pointed to Leland before looking at Aaron "and he goes and breaks it again. One second and I'll be right back." he said before picking Aaron up and taking him to the infirmary. The same doc who had worked on Simon was still there.

"I think I'm just going to keep you here." he said to the doctor before leaving. He walked back into the room.

"Now, where were we? Oh yes, so what is your answer?"

"Yeah, ok-Wait, what??" Jason replied at Leland before replied to Katie, taken by surprised at her suggestion.

"Are you serious...???" He asked, looking around the room for the metaphorical pair of socks that just blew off.

"That's our mum," Leland said even more distracted by the Jason and Katie proceedings, not even caring about Aaron falling through the ceiling and being taken away.

"What he said," Garrus told Rich, thinking before adding, "I'm estranged. Basically. It's why I don't really talk about her or my brother."

"It's because Garrus is a jerk and hates us irrationally," Leland added, getting a glare from his brother.

"Interesting, I think I know how the family split up, but it will probably take a while to confirm. I'm going to have to say though, his dislike of you is perfectly rational Leland, and I happen to share it in fact. Due to recent events, I wouldn't mind kicking your ass one day, if and when I can even the field somehow." Richard said as he decided to reopen the bottle of wine from the toast of the Society and poured himself a glass.

"What is with all this hate?" Leland said with a pout as he kicked the ground a little, "But yeah. Was that it? All you wanted to ask?"

"Well, having one's limbs removed among various other forms of physical torture isn't exactly what I would call endearing. Though yes, that is all I'm going to ask for now. I may come back with more questions later, but I can't think of any as of yet." Richard said the first part sarcastically before reverting back to somewhat neutral.

 

[CounterAttack]

"Relax, Jason," Katie said with a smile. "I know what I've got planned." Nothing too forward, that's for sure, she thought. With any luck Jason remembers the kiss from this morning... Her lips tingled at the memory, and she gently pulled Jason towards the door to the gardens.

"O...okay..." Jason said a little nervously as they began to walk out the door.

"No! That's not okay! If she's gonna do what I think she's gonna do, then she's moving this relationship way too fast!" Jason's conscience barked.

"Calm down C, I don't even think she's gonna do what we're both thinking. Just keep your mind out of the gutter. Besides, Katie's not that kind of girl...well at least it doesn't seem that way..." Jason thought back.

"Yeah, I suppose you could be right after all..." The conscience thought back. Whatever was gonna happen, he was gonna have to wait and see.

Khrys laughs and says "Why do you rreally want me to hurrt you? You a masochist like Aaron?"

Still watching Simon intently, sure he is going to attack.

Simon laughed, tapping his fingers on his chin

"Do I relish in pain? No. I do, however hate to leave things I start unfinished"

He smiled and leaned back against the gym wall

"Unless you are surrendering, in which case the matter here is closed"

she looks at Simon thoughtfully, digging her toe claws into the floor before rushing forward tryign to slam Simon into the wall with a sudden rush snarling.

"Now...now thats more like it"

Simon growled meeting Khrys with a rush of adrenaline. His hands gripped her arms as he tried to knee her ribs from the side

Khrys is surprised her hand slamming into the wall as her force is deflected taking his knee and settling for a body check trying to pin him back.

The sudden check sends Simon to the floor, landing on his back he is stunned for a few seconds

"Alright..." Leland replied back to Rich, a look of curiosity, anger, and sadness on his face as his mind picked up thoughts from Jason and Katie.

"Uh no apprentice. I'm still learning lots myself, still very young. Different types too, I use magic... you just seem to have the ability. So the answer is no," he managed to say to Dona, not really paying attention to what was going on.

Khrys looks down in surprise at Simon only for a moment before jumping to try and land on top of him with her feet in his stomach, bending down to try and grab his shoulders and hold him.

Guess I'm not as fully healed as I thought...

Simon thought grudgingly as Khrys suddenly jumped on his chest, pinning his shoulders. Unfourtently, this left his legs free and with that, Simon kneed her in the back repeadely, trying to shake her hold on him
