After several minutes of awkward glances and packing between Jason and Katie's dad, Jason quickly emerged from the room, carrying one of the father's bags. He made his way downstairs, dragging the expensive looking-yet-realitively heavy suitcase towards Katie and her mother.
"Okay Kate, your dad's on his way down, and the SUV is practically waiting outside for us. Lets pack up your mother, and get out of here as quickly as we can. It won't be lonng before Patriot starts his speech. Once he does, all airports in and out of the city will probably be shut down. We need to get to one before that happens." He says quietly to Katie, in hopes to not spook her mother any more than she already is.

I'm leaving today from my humble abode, to embark on a strange and mystical journey. AKA, I'm going to New York to visit my family. By time any of you would've read this I will be dead either on the train or in NY by then. I will be gone for the rest of June and all of July (not to mention that I'm leaving to go to Florida directly after I get back from New York, so I'll be gone for a week in August). Luckily, my good friend is a spoiled Technovore, and my realitives aren't stuck in the Stone Age, so I'll have access to a computer, but I don't know what i'll be doing in NY, so I don't know how often i'll be able to post. But i'll figure something out.
