The Society of Justice: A Super Hero Roleplay

"One at a time please! At least let me read the first one," Garrus laughed as he read through the notes, "Your mom seems to be a nice lady, and you seem to have a good relationship with her. Maybe you should call her every once in awhile. Your dad just wanted to make sure that I keep it a secret about your powers. That's about it."

 Sorry, about that.  But ya the secrecy thing is the main reason my parents were against me becoming a super-hero.  Reason for it is complicated, but to put a long story short, thanks to some political BS nobody in my family is suppose to be a vigilante.  Also can you give me a ride to my car?

Tommy said adjusting the box as they got to Garrus's bike.

"No problem man. Now you have me interested in the political BS, but I understand if you don't want to tell me," Garrus said, getting on and starting his bike and having Tommy direct him to his car. It only took a few minutes to get there; Garrus stopped the bike next to the car. "What an inconspicuous vehicle you have. Should have taken the ferrari," Garrus laughed.

Tommy left Garrus another note, then he got in his car with the box and began driving away.

 I'll tell you the story about the political BS another time, it's pretty funny, depending on your view on gang-wars and bloody murders.  I would have taken the Ferrari but I was still piss off at Richard, talked to mom about it and she told me I need to have more faith in my team-mates, I guess she's right, but don't you dare tell Richard I wrote that.  Anyways thanks for lift and...

As Garrus looked up from the note he saw Tommy was already ahead by half a mile.

"I'll be sure to tell him that now!" Garrus yelled, starting his bike and chasing after Tommy. 'I should probably go a different way then him...shit all the other ways have long ass detours,' Garrus thought angrily, staying on the streets. He kept his eye on Tommy, happy that Tommy had taken the station wagon instead of the maneuverable bike.

"Gonna catch up!" Garrus yelled to Tommy.

Katie was still blushing from before as she looked at Jason. He was slightly taller than her, so she had to look up to gaze into his eyes. The smooth skin of his hands felt cool and assuring on hers as he made his promise. She answered with one of her own, "And in turn, Jason, I promise you I'll never give up on you as long as we're together." It sounded a little clumsy, but Katie thought she got the message across. Her blush began to fade a little as she spoke, and she began to get used to the idea that she now had her first boyfriend.

Khrys pulled the ties from her hair as she ran her hands over all the surfaces of the car. They weren't nearly as conservative here as she thought they would be. Some of them actually seemed nice.

Khrys sat down in the seat lost in her thoughts till the strap of the seat belt touched her shoulder - she left the car so fast she almost flew! Snarling she started pulling at the hapless strap working at it and pounding to no real effect till she had the idea to cut it off patiently cutting away till triumphantly she tossed the strap away.

Khrys fell into the seat her rapid breath slowing. Locking the car she felt safer than she had in quite a while, allowing heavy eyelids to close and blackness to claim her.

The dream starts out pleasantly enough. Several years younger she is at a track meet and runs to win. But the other girls aren't happy she won, and the Coach's congratulations sound more like he pities her than is glad.

Khrys gave the girl, some how looking familiar, a look then shrugs saying haughtily "Khrystin Silver." Hesitating then adding in a voice more her age "Thanks...my Mother couldn't be here, she was delayed by having to take care of some guests." sounding defeated by the time she finished.

Richard had finished talking to the doctors and surgeons in the room.

"Alright, so if I can get you the latest surgical robot, you should be able to remove the bullet without any damage to the underlying tissues?" He was met with a yes, but there was nothing they could do to repair damage that had already occurred . It would prevent any more damage however. Richard took out his cellphone and called a robotics company he knew had recently finished such a robot. He had to call in a favor, but he was able to get his hands on one. It would take a while before they would be able to get the necessary equipment to the promenade though, so they had to wait until then.

Theres a pause as Khrys looks around the empty field. Older now, her hair longer and wild, she says "If the Doctors catch me its all over." She meets Dona's eyes and hers are glowing green a slit in them. The evening darkens into night as Khrys from head to toe in white fur, broken by gray-black tiger stripes.

She shakes herself and looks around frowning and murring in feline tones "I should rrrecognize it..."

When suddenly a giant hand in on her shoulder, Khrys spins and moves away from massive figured at least nine feet tall in lab coats and starts running howling in terror as the nightmare grips her.
