"The Promenade is pretty safe, though he could technically just waltz right in...go to the museum, buy some stuff at the gift shop. That'll be the day," Garrus said with a fake cheerfulness, "So, that's good. I'm not sure if you guys want to go in there all at once and overwhelm him. Hell you guys could just walk up to him if you want to, ask for the stuff back. I'm not sure what you guys should do about that...I'll get there as soon as I can from my little meeting thing. Help out."

"I think we shouldn't just immediately jump at him, guns blazing. That'll just make it harder for us. We should at least try to negotiate with him. You said it yourself that he was bipolar Gar. Maybe this'll be one of the days when we can catch him on his good side." Jason piped up.

The next day at the Promenade.....

Garrus was up first, as was usual the past couple of days. He got up and out of bed, changing into his usual attire and went to make something light to eat. 'Just too anxious to eat anything,' he thought to himself after making toast and sitting down, pushing it away and just drinking orange juice instead.

"I hope this goes as planned," he muttered, wondering when everyone else was going to wake up.

"THIS IS NOT A TV STUDIO, JOSH!![footnote]cookie for anyone that gets the reference.[/footnote]" Jason yelled as he awoke with a jolt. He looked around the room before scratching his head.

"Jeez. Why must I have such fucked up dreams?" He muttered as he got out of bed.

As he completed he morning ritual and got dressed, he heading towards the kitchen for breakfast. There, he met a anxious looking Garrus.

"Morning Gar." Jason greeted him as he got a hearty bowl of cereal and milk.

He sat at the table, and began to happily munch away at his breakfast before he remembered what they were gonna do today.

"Eh. I'm sure it'll go fine. I'm sure we'll have nothing to worry about." Jason thought in complete denial.

As willing as he was to face Dr. Broadway, he wasn't truly sure that the outcome between him and the heroes would be a good one.

 

[Birras]

Birras startled awake in his testing lab, "Wha?", he thought, his face illuminated by the computer's calculations, "Oh, right. Science." The doctor took a moment to study the images on the computer. "No new results. Unless..." He studiously scribbled down notes on his notepad before placing it in his coat pocket, "Something to test today, provided there's time for science," he muttered to himself before going off to the kitchen.

The doctor arrived in the kitchen with an unbecoming good mood, "Hello, everyone! It's a lovely day to have peaceful negotiations and/or kick some ass, isn't it?"

"Morning Jason, Birras," Garrus replied, taking a sip of his orange juice, "Today will be a fun day. We either get nothing, gain the info, or die. I think you know what I'm routing for. Will you be going Doc?"

Aaron got up and got dressed, Gucci as usual. He made his way to the kicthen where he met up with Garrus,Birras and Jason.

"Sup guys ready to kick some magcian ass," Aaron greeted.

"But, of course, my lad. In all my medical experience, I know nothing of magically inflicted wounds. Should be a fun learning experience."

"Hm. Science vs. Magic. The Ultimate Battle!" Jason said to Birras in a mock movie trailer announcer voice.

"I too, will wonder how this will turn out. I'm still hoping that we'll catch him on a good day. At least then we won't have to worry about him owning us all, repeatedly and simultaneously." He said as he put his bowl in the sink.

 

[CounterAttack]

Although she didn't want to get up, Katie half-fell out of bed, quickly dressed in a white shirt and black pants, and hurried to the kitchen for breakfast after arranging her hair into something a little more presentable than the way it usually was in the morning. As she entered the kitchen, she yawned loudly and said, "Morning, all," before taking a look in the cupboards and fridge for something edible.

Richard walked down from his room. He walked into the kitchen and spotted everyone else there.

"Morning. When is all this going to go down?" He wasn't particularly eager to see Leland, but he was eager to get it over with. He thought for a moment before he spoke next.

"I'd like to be the voice of this operation. I'm the only one of us who can honestly say they didn't join out of choice, and it would seem like a business or political move on my part, which I am known for."

 

[tsatoma]

"Well the meeting is at 1:30, not sure if you guys will be the fashionably late type. I think we're waiting for a few others to wake up and then we'll be good to go," Garrus replied to Rich, "I think you can be the voice of it. Not sure who else would like to."

"Well I'm the best choice. I don't have an inborn power, which makes me less of a threat without my suit, I'm the one he robbed, so he'll probably get a kick out of it, and I was forced to join the group. I'm the one who should be the most disloyal of the whole lot of us, statistically speaking." Richard replied.

Tommy woke up to the sound of his alarm, sounding for the third time after Tommy had hit the snooze button. He looked at the glaring numbers, considering one final desperate gambit for some much needed sleep but the thought of another fruitless battle agaisnt the blaring demon on his night-stand led him to capitualate. He rolled out of bed, and fell to the floor with a thunk, then he got up, and slid on some pants, keeping the shirt he had slept in (and had also worn last night). He had the presence of mind to put on his communicator before he went downstairs to get lunch.

When he got downstairs he waved hello and then saw Birras, startled by seeing the stranger he looked over to Richard and silently mouthed, "Who's that?" but forgot that his communicator was on, so the message was heard by everyone.

 

[Souldemon8]

"I'll be a couple of block away. If you need me then I'll be there in seconds. Though we should think of way to keep the civilians out of trouble just in case the shit hits the fan."

 

[tsatoma]

"That's a good reason for you to go. Also...you're a handsome guy," Garrus said getting a few weird looks before explaining, "He likes being around good-looking people! I wasn't just saying that! Such horrible minds you all have."

 

[Birras]

"Ah," Birras turned to Tommy, hand extended "I am Doctor Birras, I don't think we've been formally introduced."

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie found a small bowl, and poured herself some cereal before sitting down at the table. "So who's going to meet Broadway this afternoon? All of us, or just a few people?" she asked no-one in particular, nervous about what might happen during the meeting.

"That's Birras, Tommy. We don't see him much." Richard said before he heard Garrus' comment. He smirked as he replied.

"Well, thank you for the compliment Garrus. I can't say I would be adverse to meeting him if he were that...flattering, in person." he turned to Katie.

"I think I should meet him alone or with Garrus, with a few of us who haven't been seen on camera inside and the rest nearby in case of an emergency."
