Name: Project:Leviticus Unit XM8
Hero Alias: Eight
Age: This is a complex question for us. Some parts of our body are upwards of forty years old, while others were new when we were build. However, in terms of personality and knowledge, we are equivalent to a twenty-five year old human.
Powers: Above-human level strength, endurance. Our systems can access information from the internet, provided a suitable network is in range. The palm of our right hand contains a five-level energy weapon, expanded upon within Weapon section.
Weaknesses: Magnetic fields will disrupt my systems, sufficiently advanced computer viruses could access our main hard drive, which contains 45% of our programs. We do not have the most subtle appearance, so infiltration would be near-impossible. Due to our size and patchwork make, we cannot move much faster than a slow run. We have no sense of smell.
Weapons: Only our fists and our beam weapon in used. Its five levels are detailed below;
Level 1:Our default setting, shines a bright white light.
Level 2

rojects a short, thin beam of focused energy, functions as a cutting torch.
Level 3:Emanates a dull orange beam, incapacitates most humans using a muscle disruption system not unlike a taser.
Level 4:A bright red bolt is fires out of our hand, capable of wounding or killing an average human and damaging a light vehicle using focused thermal energy drawn from our power core. Rarely used due to the drain it puts on our power core.
Level 5:A large, blue beam is projected. Capable of severely damaging a light tank or other armored vehicle. Could theoretically vaporize a human or civilian vehicle. Never used, stress on systems and power system would likely cause irreparable damage to chassis, short out at least 65% percent of systems.
Appearance:Our terminal is a humanoid figure that appears not entirely unlike a scarecrow. Due to our creator's constantly fluctuating resources, parts of our chassis are made of high-grade titanium and steel, while others are made of scrap iron and sheet metal. This leads to us being a faintly shining silver color on our torso, while our right hand is a dark gray and the rest of us, save for the head, are covered in rust and filth. Our head was converted from a television, and contains our visual and aural sensors as well as our communications suite. It also functions as our face, usually displaying a color that represents our disposition at the moment. When we are attaining information from the internet, it displays what we are 'seeing'.
Personality: We are, as to our creator's wishes, snarky and sarcastic, two traits that we have not fully mastered. Normally, we are calm, but prone to anger when something against our programing is detected.
Biography: Our first memory was in Febuary of the year 2010 CE, when ten of our basic programs were chained together. We formed a basic thought, 'What?'. We felt more basic minds hooking into our own, and we slowly gained cognitive abilities. When all 617 programs that make us were combined, we were as mentally capable as an average human. We asked the creator questions. 'What are we? Why were we made?'. We learned that we were part of an experiment to build a police robot. There were seven programs before us, but they all failed. We were to be the greatest. In late March, we were downloaded into our body. It was strange, both limited and incredibly free. Out mind couldn't probe the Earth like we normally could, but we had a presence, a physical presence in the world we had spent our whole lives simply being told about. We were trained on how to use the terminal, and police procedure. On April 21st, we were given the opportunity to accompany a police patrol on a raid on a drug manufacturer's home. Somehow, we don't remember how, a drug dealer stuck a magnet to our torso, disabling our friend-or-foe identifying algorithm. We ended up arresting everyone in the building, including the police. We saw that we were malfunctioning, and disabled ourselves to repair our algorithms. We woke up in a scrapyard, and have been fulfilling our original purpose off the radar ever since.
