The entirety of Homestuck Volume 5. [http://www.whatpumpkin.com/]
For such a time, a lot of calm and subdued music backed by the occasional intense song(as well as having 'Descend', an amazingly intense and cool song, followed by Homestuck, a nice calm one, right at the end)would just make for a great soundtrack.

Also, it is three hours long, so that gives us plenty of time.

I think the Apocalpyse calls for a good mix of Metal and some quiet sombre affairs. nice and bittersweet.

This is all I can think of, at the moment, as I have now been drawn in to a Nostalgia Spiral. Pumpkins away!

AC/DC (particularly Highway to Hell)
Fixed that right up for you.

OT: Probably some very upbeat classical music, something like Orpheus in the Underworld. For some reason, it works really well with things involving horrific death.
I like Hell's Bells more. XD So there!
While I prefer Highway to Hell, Hell's Bells is also a good song both on its own and for an apocalypse. So there!

Too many songs to think of in the metal department... Pretty mush anyone and everyone of them would be best suited.

But if I was pushed to choose then I'd pick albums like:

And Justice for All
Ride the Lightning
Master of Puppets
Leviathan
Blood Mountain
Crack the Skye
The Blackening
The Dethalbum
Rust in Piece
Peace Sells
Horror Show
The Glorious Burden
Overture of the Wicked
Night of the Stormrider
Clayman
Come Clarity
Ten Thousand Fists
As Daylight Dies
The End of Heartache
Hellbilly Deluxe
Show No Mercy
Seasons in the Abyss
Reign in Blood
Christ Illusion
All Hope is Gone
Vol 3: The subliminal Verses
The Formation of Damnation

Wouldn't they be doing bad stuff? Killing people and all that?

It's Rick Roll. And Numa Numa. I can see children being butchered to Numa Numa. But my flashbacks are nobody's business, I say Numa Numa.

Jesus someone beat me to it.

I think the 'How Do I Live (Bunny Back In The Box version)' is perfect for those tearful goodbyes.

Some of the tracks from earlier Homestuck albums would be good too. Particularly the 'Showtime (Imp Strife Mix)', 'Aggrieve (Violin Refrain)' and 'Skies of Skaia' from vol. 1; and 'Carbon Nadsat/Cuestick Genius' from the Midnight Crew: Drawing Dead.
