Right, I got that. I can't comment much further, given that this has all been culminating for a long time and she's probably already been through a lot. We also can't say whether she didn't or didn't cheat on Noah, though I can't say that post does my impression of her any favors.

To be fair, if she just broke up with him because she wanted to get out of that relationship, it was totally her prerogative to do so. The apparent derision heaped upon her because of that is, frankly, deplorable. That said, yeah, she's appears to be playing it up for the camera here (so to speak). Also, I remain skeptical that the conditions behind the break up were truly as innocent as she implies. That's all in the realm of speculation though.

I agree, she shouldn't be constantly hounded and hated for the break-up. But the whole "woe is me" thing can only go so far before I start rolling my eyes. I shouldn't have said that her acting like a victim in that regard was bad, because it's not. It's just that she focuses so much on how the break up has affected her relations to fans, and glances over the fact that she was responsible for the break-up, and completely ignoring the obvious impact the break-up has had on Noah. Basically, she's acting a bit self-centered with that post, in my opinion.

In Nash's case though, I can somewhat understand. After all, if Hope didn't have a problem with it, she wouldn't have felt the need to tell Nash about it. So this could very well be the first Nash has heard about it. And seeing as he and Hope are serious enough to now be living together, he could see it as an attack on him as well. I do not fault Nash at all for being upset.

Ah.. that would mean that he missed it the first time, because the tweet was directed at the both of them. I have a hard time believing that's the case.

It may have been directed to both of them, but I'm pretty sure it was only sent to Hope. And like I said, if she had no problem with it, she probably would have buried it. It just seems odd that Nash would wait until now to be offended by it, when he's never been shy of stating his opinions.

In any case, if it's that important to you to watch them, then watch them. More traffic to his site means that he's more likely to fix something if it's broken, and I've never had a problem with it. It's better then it used to be, that's for sure.

Hi everyone. I'm a pretty big part of TGWTG community, and I will try to make some things more clear, as there seems to be some confusion.

1) Spoony was not let go from TGWTG for what he said to JO, nor Lupa. He was let go because of fan complaints on how he was acting during his suspension.

2) A lot of producers, both TGWTG and non-, have "neutrally" weighed in on the subject ie given how they see it without specifically picked sides. The general consensus amongst the "neutrals" is that they understand the decision by TGWTG, but hope that Spoony gets the help he needs and feels better.

3) LK is not part of TGWTG, he has not been for quite a while. Despite that, what he has said has not sat well with many producers and fans, as that is something you don't say to someone who clearly has some form of depression.

4) None of this is the fault of Lupa, JO, Nash, or any one person. This is a business decision. Don't point fingers. Don't be like the crazy fans (like the ones that are giving Lupa death threats) that can be akinned to members of 4chan.

What was the reaction from the TGWTG crew to Lupa bringing up something completely irrelevant way in the past, to someone that is obviously struggling with serious mental issues, just to kick him when he's down (and obviously push him over his limits)? Regardless of how Spoony behaved after he was poked, prodded and bullied into losing control, surely that kind of behavior is considered a pretty reprehensible thing to do?

Well, this thread is full of them. But to make it short, Obscurus Lupa dug up Spoony's rape joke that he made on Twitter to JesuOtaku. Then Spoony started getting angry again. Also, Spoony apparently unintentionally prevented LordKat from getting an interview with the X-Com team because of Spoony's "BETRAYAL" thingy.

That's not really what's going on. As far as I can tell, Spoony has had a lot of problems (with other people, and his fans), and this has been building up for a while now. Some of it went public, and fans being what they are started taking sides.

Whatever went on between Lupa and Spoony, it's just a small part of it.

This also stinks of "settling old scores": apparently Scarlett, the ex of Spoony (word on the nets, because she cheated on him), is friends with Lupa and Lupa was pissed because Spoony basically said she (Scarlett) was a ***** and his fans took her to task for "twitter flirting" as Lupa put it, which I can only interpret as "cyber-sex" over twitter. Lord Kat seems to have a longstanding feud with Spoony, Phelous is Lupa's henchman/boyfriend, and Nash apparently was just pissed about the original incident (even though his girlfriend apparently was not) and loyal to Lupa. So in the end, it would appear, this whole thing is some kind of convoluted scheme but some other people to oust Spoony One because of old grudges and feuds the fans were only scarcely aware of until now.

I'll say it again: it's hilarious to me how Channel Awesome suddenly became Dallas OVERNIGHT!

Lupa has 'henchmen' now? The way you talk about this, you make it sound less like 'Dallas', and more like some supervillain scheme.

Nash had been pissed, from what I heard, but that's the thing: his girlfriend is the one who (by no fault of her own) CAUSED all of this and the ONLY one who doesn't seem to be involved at all with it. As far as I can grasp, Chapman hasn't said a word about this since it happened and it was all dredged up just recently, long after she and Spoony apparently hashed out whatever issue they had.

She hardly caused this. This isn't just about some one incident.

Also, why are people saying Lupa got him fired? Or painting her as a some kind of villanous mastermind? Really, I'm asking. It seems to me she at most contributed to a shitstorm that was already brewing.

I don't watch LordKat after he left TGWTG. From what I heard he told Spoony to take his brother Miles' gun and shoot himself. For those of you who don't know, Miles, being a member of his local police departments, was forced to shoot and kill a perpetrator in self defense sometime in the last year.

Do you see in how many ways this is the most fucked up thing to say to a person suffering from clinical depression? That is possibly the worst thing I have ever heard one person say to a fellow human being.

Spoony had been doing a woes me in twitter for a while. Someone tweeted him to snap out of his depression and that what started the twitter rage.

She seriously should have stayed out of this. Now people are going to think she's got some larger part to play in this whole ordeal.

Personally, I don't care to take sides in anything that's even remotely related to two people's relationship lives. I'm sure both Scarlett and Spoony have different levels of blame to deal with, but I'm not going to be the one to decode who deserves more.
