Psst...You uh, you kind of attributed that to the wrong fellow, there.

I was talking about the big business, which I believe is Spoony's goal. But if he's planning on using his site as a "launch pad to greater things" then I'm sorry, but that won't work now. He damaged his own image several times already and I doubt that any studio would approach him.
Yeah...I mean, the entertainment business is evolving to the point where gossip bloggers like Perez Hilton can get radio shows (he is still on the radio, right?), so Mr. Antwiler could get lucky here, but I don't know. This recent business seems like just a wee bit of a setback, heh.

Are you saying Mr. Antwiler was the one waving a white flag, meaning he was the only one, which means Channel Awesome was still continuing some kind of campaign against him?
Of course not.
Okay, just checking. I was pretty firmly stuck in argumentative mode last night, so I was pretty sure I was misreading you but couldn't quite figure out where. Thanks for clarifying.

No doubt his newly diagnosed mental illness has mellowed him to start thinking with his right mind again, yet you don't seem to acknowledge this behavior as a progressively better development. I don't know why that is.
It's because I think the standard of "better" here is skewed. When people say he's getting better, they seem to measure it in terms of how close he is to getting re-hired by thatguywiththeglasses.com, and I don't know if he wants that, or even if he should. It could genuinely be time for him to move on for his own reasons and his own sake.
I do think he's getting better in that he seems much more calm and reasonable, and the barometer of his emotional weather is the standard I would prefer everyone use for that judgment.

Also, @JimB:
We are supposed to believe you that you also have a mental disease by your own words only, but then you go on to question if the Spoony One isn't simply lying to all of us about his bipolar II disorder?
Two things.
First, I have never once accused Mr. Antwiler of lying about his diagnosis, and I'm pretty damned sure I haven't mentioned his credibility at all in this thread (you can feel free to go back and check, but I can't be bothered to), because so far as I can tell, he has been one hundred percent honest every step of the way. He hasn't always been nice or friendly, but he's been honest.
If you'll read the comments you're trying to take me to task for, you will note I specifically referred to the accuracy of his diagnosis, and diagnosis is the responsibility of the doctor, not the patient. If that's still somehow unclear, then listen up: That explicitly means I don't know how much I believe his doctor, since at least one doctor, possibly the same one who just handed down this diagnosis, bungled the last one. I hope this one is correct if only so they don't spend another year or so treating him for the wrong disease, but either way, I don't actually care if he suffers from bipolar II or not. It's just a name. What I care about is that I don't think it's fair for the users on this forum to immediately use the diagnosis as an excuse for his behavior when just a few hours before they'd been arguing that depression pardons him.
Second, no, you're not supposed to believe anything particular about my mental state. I don't care what you think of it. I'm not running a PR campaign for anyone, and the bottle of pills sitting on my kitchen counter isn't going to vanish if you don't believe in them, so your opinion about the veracity of my psychiatric history is pretty well meaningless to me. Neither your acceptance nor your refutation are going to keep me awake tonight.

Nah, no offense taken. Keep doing what you do, Karadalis.
