Oh I love these threads. Let us see what power my villain gets:

Oh well, I guess this villain would use this power to take over the world, essentially blackmailing high authority figures with pain and suffer for all the people they stepped on and hurt on the way up, just so he can pretty much take their power for himself. I could see this villain easily control governments with ease.

Not only that but if need be he could force gangs, mobs, and any other underground force if he needs something dirty and quick done. Just pay the top mobster some of his karma in suffering, and they will bend to his will to avoid any other karmic punishments.

Doesn't even need a villain moniker, though he would probable be born with a name that means punishment or balance or some such.

Well, far from omnipotent, but I imagine such a villain would start by flying in to the office of a world leader in the form of a small insect. Then the villain would wait until the world leader was alone and assassinate said world leader (possibly changing in to something that could devour the body so there wouldn't be any evidence). Then the villain takes on the form of the world leader.. and hijinks ensue!
Repeat as necessary.

I disagree with the premise that I have to give my power to someone else for me to create a super villain, given that, if I were to have powers I would most definitely be a super villain over a hero.

It kind of makes it too easy, I can kill people in their dreams, teleport through people who are dreaming, manipulate others through their dreams, manipulate fears, trap people inside their dreams and a bunch of other stuff.

I can create alternate universes inside other people's dreams, it would be all too easy to manipulate world leaders into giving up their power or if I wanted to stay out of the limelight, I could have them destroy each other. For most countries all I would have to do is kill the world leaders and high ranking military personnel for the country to descend into chaos.

I actually can't think of anything I would enjoy more than trapping Tony Abbott in an alternate universe where there is nothing but endless black, only him, and all he would feel is overwhelming pain 24 hours a day (pain inducement in dreams also fall within my power ).

... Addiction Manipulation... We have the villain FRAT BOY! He spreads random addictions to people and constantly does a shit ton of drugs cause he can't get addicted. He especially does super duper drugs like Super steroids to make him super strong. He beats his competition down by horrible increasing their caffeine addictions making them drink so much energy drinks that their hearts explode.
