World of Warcraft. I just wanna know...whay the bad rap for WoW? Of course I always try to dispell the stereotype surrounding WoW about it's players being lifeless, nerdy, social rejects, I mean....just look at me!

Of course at my school, I'm alone. Not too many WoW players there, so they think the worst of MMO players. Even the ones that know me well call me a lifeless nerd, when I tell them that I play WoW.

And of many of the escapists I've talked to about it tend to think the same. In fact most of you seem to hate WoW...alot. It's a great game, and I'm not saying that losers don't play it. I'm just saying that people who do play aren't nerds, just because they play, and most aren't nerds at all.

Please discuss.

Also, another stereotype: Roleplaying. Not once, have I ever encountered a roleplayer on WoW. Not any of kind of "Hail to thee Phalon of Moonrunner!" bull crap. Just (60%) nice people playing a very strategic game.

One of my good friends plays WoW and he is one of the funniest and coolest guys I know. Whenever people call it shit and gay I just ask if they have ever actually played the game and the best answer I get is usually for about 5 minutes. I played my cousins account for an hour or so and had great fun with it so I refuse to play now because I know I will get full on addicted if I start playing.
