Actually any supervalcaon threatens all forms of life every if you remember the ash getting in the sky and blocking out the sun.

You do know Old Faithful at Yellowstone is a supervolcano also? Goodbye America.

Oh, and Krakatau is reappearing, so goodbye Asia.

So, in the volcano apocolypse, I think Australia is safe.
Nah, Canada's mostly okay too.

I believe I heard that Old Faithful (or a geyser similar to Old Faithful) is a super volcano quite similar to that.

So basically we're all doomed.
Nope only USA and Euroland the rest of us are quite fine.

Two thousand years ago Mount Vesuvius destroyed Pompeii. Today, a larger, far more deadly supervolcano lurks on the other side of Naples. If it erupts, Campi Flegrei could wipe out all life in Europe.

So, Opinions? Ideas? Ohgodwe'redoomed?
So what? There's nothing we can really do about it besides kick up our feet and relax, even if it erupted during our lifetimes.

There's a super-volcano in the US too, but you don't see me freaking out about...

You can take that back supervolcanos produce an enourmous amount of ash. Hundreds of times more then a regular volcano. It could partly block out the sun severly lowering earths temperature for 1-2 years maybe even more.

Basicly if one does erupt the whole world is screwed.

Humanity would survive. We're like cockroaches like that.

That's because we're in the centre of a tectonic plate, so there are no big gaps for volcanoes here.

Imagine the one in Yellowstone and this one going off at the same time. Brutally delicious.

No, honestly. There's always something new threatening life as we know it. No point in being scared or bothering with it. If shit happens, shit happens.

Just do what America did with Yellow Stone: build hotels on it.

nah, you're thinking of their much larger, more dangerous counter-parts, Drop Bears. Those fuckers will mess you up.

OT: Seriously tho, I'm a bit more worried about the mass deaths of fish and birds.

Yeah, yeah, and back when I was living in Los Angeles. People tried to scare us that one day the San Andreas fault would give way and souther California would sink into the ocean...lol

Although it was kinda funny seeing it happen finally in the movie 2012...=P

*Cough* Daily Mail *cough*

As a person who lives in Europe, I am thoroughly unworried. An asteroid could hit the planet, the cockroaches could murder us in our sleep, worrying about them isn't going to stop them, and it's a remote possibility so there are a lot more productive things to worry about.

According to the Mail, everything can and will kill us.
This, a thousand times. Although with the mail it's usually about Brown people and how anyone to the left of Thatcher wants to destroy Britain.
