The tetris movies is becoming a trilogy

I'm trying to figure out how you got enough story for 1 movie out of Tetris.

Here's the funny thing: it'd be very easy to make a movie (though probably not three) about Tetris. Think about it: here's the first major piece of software to break through the Iron Curtain, and it's not trying to destroy our infrastructure or inundate us with propaganda (unless it's really, really subtle).

Says you. There was plenty of fear of Soviet Mind Game in the world of Christendom. To a good-sized niche, the fact that this game came out of the dark heart of the Evil Empire was all the proof anyone needed that video games are the Devil. Them and D&D and Rock and Roll.

I'm a little surprised (and disappointed) that this angle wasn't gone with. There's got to be something someone can do with a Cyberpunk Dystopia addicted to Tetris.

If Battleship is anything to go by the tetris blocks will be alien space craft and yeah I got nothing else. Even using Battleship I can't think how a tetris movie is possible, let alone three.

At least with Battleship they have a setting, which is enough to make up everything else. Tetris has nothing. It wouldn't surprise me if the movie has nothing to do with Tetris whatsoever.

It will be about a boy's coming of age story, and how after highschool (which is just a mess of niches and trying to fit in (like trying to fit the pieces in correctly!!!)) he figures out what kind of person he is, and all the pieces fall into place. The climactic revelation will happen as he plays Tetris on an arcade board. Lmao.
