Heheh, "rainbow coalition".

It sounds good, but that's how the anti-gay crowd has always been.

Heavy on the pathos; light on the logos.

Eh I found it over-dramatizing and for the most part inaccurate. I think gay marriage is not an example of a civil rights movement that have moved far enough to actually REVERSE the situation in some areas.
May want to watch this:

I don't know how it hurts me. One guy + One guy = One more girl for me.
Hmm...I like the sound of that.

I don't think gay marriage is the problem, divorce is.

apparently you guys never heard of the PSAs in the 50s or 60s which advertised that porn destroys civilizations like the romans for example. im not joking, look it up on youtube or something. this gay marriage threat bs or w.e will go away eventually just like that PSA from the 50s or 60s
So that's what happened to the Romans, I was wondering.

Wow I read some of the comments here and I was expecting the people in the video to be advocating that gay people be shot. I dont see what everyone is upset about. I dont necessarily agree with the "argument" in the video has it appeals to emotion and doesnt provide much else but they have as much right to give their opinion as people who disagree with them do.

Did they like get a load of homophobes and make them all like "hey guys lets not support same sex marriage"

Isn't it legal in the UK? They might as well come over here to get married.
Ah! It is easier and closer for them to come to Canada and get married!

I find the ignorance of people portrayed in this advert sickening, I also find it sickening that there are people alive in this day and age that actually think this.

If two adults love each other and want to get married, they should have the right to. I'm in Massachusetts too. When the bill was introduced and it was put on the ballot for the vote, the opposition was shrieking on and on about how it would "Destroy the fabric of society, ruin families", bla, bla. Nothing changed at all. Nothing. Except Divorce attorneys now will make more money when married gays discover what married straight people have known all along, which is; Gay or straight, being married to the wrong person is absolute misery.

Makes me sick. Stupid people fearmongering because what? Their little book says homosexuality is wrong? I thought it also said "he who is without sin cast the first stone." Well.. why the hell are they enforcing the "will of god?"

The only way gay marriage is gonna change you're life is ... wait, it can't, unless you're gay and want to get married. If ever there was proof that drinking while pregnant is bad, that advert is it.

Wow, these people evidently have no conept of the term HYPOCRACY!

Gay couples suffer even worse then these people think they suffer every day. Do these people have to live in fear that they may be forced from their neighbourhood for their sexual orientation? Do they have to go through the trauma of rationalizing their orientation to their friends and families? Do they have to go to one of four (way to go Vermont, btw) states in order to legalize their partnership? Do they have to worry about their child's safety at school because of the beliefs of the parent? To put it simply...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Until they've walked a mile in the shoes of a gay couple, they need to shut their bigotted, pretentious, hypocritical, short-sighted mouths. I am not a gay man, but I have friends and family members who are not heterosexual (i.e. bi and/or gay). These people really piss me off.

I'd rather not watch it either, I dont like watching hetero couples making out even.. But thats no reason to remove marriage rights.

Being married doesnt automatically force people to make out in public.. Two different issues here.
