Not a pseudo dragon, just a young dragon.

If the character was a pseudo dragon, then technically he wouldn't be a dragon, right?
What you were describing sounded like a pseudo dragon (DND), dragons that are about the size of a house cat and are usually quite happy with being regarded as a pet.

I was just curious if that was what you were going for.

Ah, right. Sorry for any confusion. But no, that's not what I'm going for.

A dragon that is the size and has the intelligence of a domestic cat, I might add. Think Toothless off How To Train Your Dragon (the book, not the film).
Ugh, that book though. It's been a long time. Need to reread it.
Do we get to pet the kitty dragon? :D

I want to make a sorcerers apprentice with a pet dragon (think Arthurian legend), would that be viable Ray?
I've talked it through with Mortified Penguin, and I'll going to be the pet dragon. Okay?
It would be... interesting. I'm cool as long as the whole sheet fits more or less when put to the test.
Also mini furry dragon? What is this madness! (then again feathered raptors...)

Forgot to suggest that as an idea, I've got a lot of sheets on my plate so I keep hopping around a bit on occasion.

Name: Leigh ?Spring-Heeled? Jack
Background: 19th Century, Industrial-Steampunk era. A package she was delivering exploded for no discernible reason, throwing her through time.
She speaks English and all its variations, with convincing ability, along with French and Spanish. She can also hold a short conversation in Mandarin Chinese
Age & Gender/Race: ::Years since activation: 14. Age Appearance: Mid-Twenties. Identifies as African American Female. Designation: Third Generation Steam-Powered Courier/General Task Automaton.
Height & Weight: Stands five foot four inches at the crown of the head. Weighs approx. 245lbs unburdened.
Appearance: Leigh has dark prosthetic skin covering her entire body save for the backs of her calves and feet, and her forearms and hands. Her hair is straight up and down, black, with one side shaved short. She wears a bandanna over this, with a pair of night vision goggles sitting atop that. A cream undershirt followed by light brown leathers finishes her ensemble. Her breeches are tied off at the knee, like any good sailor, to allow her to use her legs. She leaves her hands uncovered so as to climb properly.
Since she is a third generation steam automaton Leigh is lucky that she got pick and choose how much she gets to look like a human or not. She got to design her own face and did so with rapture. Her skin is smooth and chocolate coloured. Her eyes are the standard human affair but with electric green irises. She designed her face to be not unobtrusive but also not exactly forgettable. The kind of face you would pick out in a crowd and then move on, realising that the sheer normality of her face was what drew your attention in the first place, and not suspicion of being someone important.
History: Leigh was created by a man called Jackson Thomas. A pioneer in the area of automaton integration and rights he created Leigh as a way to forward his views on equality. Coming from a family that had once been slaves to the colonial powers he knew just what the living automatons were going through in their struggle for basic rights.

Leigh was the first of the ?free? automatons, those who could choose to work or not, who were granted all the rights and responsibilities of anyone else. She chose to stay with her father and help him in the later years of his life. He was getting on and she wanted to make his passing as comfortable as possible. He had no sons or daughter s of his own and Jackson considered Leigh his created achievement and loved her like he would his own child.

Soon though, he passed, unavoidably. Leigh missed him terribly. Without her father she figured she had little other reason to live, and went to the tallest rooftop in the city. From there she stood on the lip, contemplating her place.

That was when she saw the couriers. She was just about to step off the building and become nothing more than a crater of oil, prosthetics and a dead mans? dreams when something rushed from behind her and catapulted itself off the edge.

It soared through the air, guffawing. Its electric green eyes turned to look at her and the shutters that acted as its eyelids smiled at her.

The freedom that these automatons? exemplified resonated deep within Leigh. She stepped down from the edge of the building and hurried off to the nearest post-office to be outfitted as a courier.

It was not an immediate fix for her woes however. There was a number of times mid-flight when thoughts ran by her. Thoughts like ?how about we just land on our heads?? or ?let?s go jump in a lake.? Needless to say she took a few weeks leave whenever these thoughts surfaced, and cruised around the Mediterranean.

On her most recent job she was told to take an unobtrusive brown-paper wrapped package from one side of town to the other. And she did so. Until it exploded in mid-air and she found herself falling through the sky above the largest city she had ever seen.
Reason to be here/things to do: Discover the thrills of this city and try to find a way home.
Personality: Leigh is carefree and wild, taking risks and taking names wherever she can. She?s sympathetic to the plight of others and will help for as long as she can with as much as she can. Occasionally she?ll have bouts of depression that practically cripple her. She?ll shun all sentient contact and make every effort to not go jump in a lake. If she sees an injustice she?ll do her utmost to make it better, even on an individual scale. In general Leigh is a good person.
Powers: Leigh?s legs are massively powerful hydraulics capable of catapulting here hundreds of feet in the air. They required a short charge to get her to her peak height. Both her arms and legs are filled with shock absorbers that allow her to leap from building to building without out losing momentum. She has talons that fold out of her feet to anchor in place, and coupled with her clawed fingers she can scale buildings and other sheers surfaces with ease. Her night vision is no better than a human however, and she requires night visions ogles to work effectively in the dark.
Notable skills: Leigh is a parkour adept and goes free running in her spare time. She also has a very good memory for cities and streets.
Equipment: One set of durable leathers that she is currently wearing, light brown in colouration. A set of night vision goggles, black. The remnants of the package she was holding. A few scraps of brown paper and pieces of string. A bandanna pulling her synthetic hair back out of her face and a ring that belonged to her father, a simple band of tarnished silver.
Interesting and rather odd, care to offer an explanation how intellect and "Brains/Biology" work in this case concerning her? I.E the inner workings, repairs, power source, etc.

Hmm, good question. I'd say some manner of hocus pocus mumbo jumbo that the creators don't really understand but are capable of using, give sentience unto the circuitry that is then powered byyyyyy. Steam. Which is ingested in the form of water by the automata according to preference. Their movements create heat which turns it to steam. They perpetuate, as long as they have water. The initial startup is done by the creator however, who does some techy stuff to get the steam in there initially. Beginning the process.

Honestly, I'll just add the recoil dampener to it, the robot-arm would me to require to re-write a good amount of his powers and make other things obsolete.

Welp, sorry it took so long for me to throw this together.

Name: Kravos Gildofour Venten

Background: Period: 340X
Era: Future-near utopia-alien war
Origin: While attempting to break through an enemy trap was hit by an unknown weapon and was suddenly gone
Languages: Esperanto

Age & Gender/Race: 28, Male, Saturian (human)

Height & Weight: 6'5" 128lb

Appearance: Kravos is rather thin and lanky though he moves with an uncharacteristic amount of grace for someone with such a build. Kravos' hair has a rather ashen grey color to it, a characteristic not uncommon in Saturians. His hair is mostly not to long, with the exception of the bangs; in accordance with recent soldier styles the courners of the bangs have been allowed to grow out very long then tied behind the head. Kravos has brown eyes and a rather long face.

Kravos is currently wearing his flight suit, a well fitted full body suit of futuristic cloth of a warm brown shade. It has several red ceramic armor plates covering various areas like the chest, lower legs, thighs, and lower arms. He also has his red helmet which has a retractable visor and crest of the Human Defense Force emblazoned in gold over the forehead. A similar crest is on his flight suit's left breast; a stylized series of rings over a flying shield.

History: Kravos was born on Rhea (2nd largest moon of Saturn) to a middle class family and for most of his young life wanted to grow up to be a stellar transport pilot. However when he was 20 the first encounters occurred with what would come to be known as the Outsiders. Soon afterwords the solar system and human race were plunged into a brutal war against the mysterious Outsiders and their massive drone forces.

Two years later the Neptune boarder fortress was destroyed and the Outsiders continued to press inwards. Kravos joined the Human Defense Force becoming one of the few pilots of a new HDF combat unit; the Girwalk Multiform Fighter. Kravos was assigned to the carrier DFS Victory. Over the next 6 years Kravos saw much action near Uranus against the Outsiders helping to halt their advance and even scoring several small victories.

During this time Kravos also fell in love with and married another of the pilots aboard the carrier, the pair have recently given birth to a daughter.

Reason to be here/things to do: Figure out what is going on. Get home.(not necessarily in order)
Secondary: locate fighter

Personality: Kravos is naturally happy humorous guy, though there hasn't been boat loads of opportunity to be so lately. However, Kravos really dislike bullies of any kind and can't stand to see the weak abused by the strong. Kravos always feels more comfortable when he is in a rather wide open area, he especially finds the sight of stars to be very relaxing.

Powers: By touching his left hand to something mechanical or electronic Kravos can divine it's purpose and rough method of activation/control as well as a small insight into how it works. However, if the object is damaged, broken, or missing critical parts the Kravos' knowledge will likewise be broken, limited, or filled with gaps.

Notable skills: Kravos is a skilled pilot with excellent reflexes and sense of space. He has also had training in martial arts and small arms use though only to moderate degrees. Kravos also has some technical ability which he often boosts through use of his power. In addition, Kravos has memorized nearly all of 29th century Martian musical theater and has an above average singing voice.

Equipment: Outside of his flight suit Kravos only has an emergency beacon and his sidearm; a customized photon pistol. Kravos' pistol easily has enough power to punch a 2 inch diameter hole through 3 feet of steel plating, but it can only fire 10 shots and Kravos has no way of recharging it now.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but I only got Internet back a little while ago: Has the RP started yet, and if it has, is it too late for me to jump in?

Yay! I'm in!

So what do you guys think of our characters, Aeronwen and Pryderi?

Have fun trying to figure out how to pronounce their names.
