Portal has so much ingenuity, and I've played Civ 4 for countless hours.

Battlefield 2142.

Can't pick a second one because there are just too many.

it's fun. but it takes forever to level up past the first couple unlocks. also the netcode & hitboxes are way inaccurate. they better fix that on the next one if they want to stand a chance against the CoD series.

Yeh it can be annoyimg at times, but all games have their problems. COD4 had a good singleplayer campaign but the multiplayer never appealed to me.

I personally don't think the Battlefield and COD series' are competing since they are both pretty different games. Yes they're both multiplayer FPS games, but COD maps are small and suited for deathmatch type gaming compared to the larger BF maps that need combined arms to control.

Saying one is better than the other is like saying PCs are better than consoles.

Titan Quest is just EPIC, having the best storyline EVER. EVER. and the boss fights are really epic too.

Hmm I see a lot of people that like the FF series, I was never a big enough fan to put it in my top 2.

Fallout 3: Everything's perfect, the atmosphere, the enemies, and the weapons. They all just feel so right together. It never gets old sniping a super mutant in the head or using the MIRV to level an entire area.

L4D: Pure fun and love it.

I'll just pick the two faves from 2008, since my memory sucks and I cannot be asked for more before I even had my breakfast, though it is the afternoon already. I say GTA 4 since it gave me not only Serbian Hittman, but also a cavalcade of drunken bikers. Next is L4D, the best damn zombie game you can throw a pipe bomb at.
