I prefer CEX when it comes to buying used from brick and mortar stores, not quite sure why, the staff there seem a lot more helpful than the staff at my local gamestation.

(although my local gamestation is small enough to be called a stall)
I have a local Cex which is awesome for price, but is always so busy you don't really get a chance to actually talk with the staff about things sadly! I guess these things vary depending on where you live.

They have an amazing pre-owned PC game selection, my girlfriend loves it because they have copies of all the old Sims game expansions for about £1 each when they are about £15 on Origin.
I was in CEX recently, selling Syndicate and way of the samurai 3. They offered me nearly 3 pounds more then gamestation, across the street had.

Well, I'm kind of pissed.
Following the news of Mass Effect not being stocked, I went in to get my deposit refunded. They said they'd give me it back in store credit, which pissed me off since I paid cash. They then said I'd *also* get £5 on a gift card- which calmed me down enough to take it.

But still- They managed to get me to take credit rather than my cash back, despite the email I just got saying "Deposit refunds will be made in the same payment method it was placed with".

GDI!

I haven't baught anything from 'Game' in a long while. Went there a while ago with a X-Mas giftcard and they had practly no PS3 games. And this was a store on the highstreet, in the town center.
Also, many younks ago, I bought a pre-owned game from 'Game' [Only 'cos I couldn't find it at CEX where I do all of my game/eletronic shopping] and it didn't work. It just flat out didn't work. I've bought around a few hundred games [shit-you-not] from CEX and about 4 didn't work. And one of those broke 'cos my PS2 shat itself first time I put it in.
'Game' are pretty awful as a game store but theres nowhere else thats a dedacated first-buy store.

OffTopic: HMV is good for sort of old/obscure DVDs. Is were I can find stuff for my film course 'cos no one else knows what it is or heard of it.
