So I've been playing over this idea of the ultimate criminal for a while now, and by that I mean what is the first image of a criminal that comes to mind, when someone brings up the word?

My personal idea of the perfect criminal is the Sniper from Team Fortress 2, mixed over the Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction (Quinten Tarantino). Completely separated from work and personal life, wearing a suit, and preferably with a nice car, and powerful Handgun. I'd much rather meet the scruffed up style criminal in an alleyway if he was carrying a freakin' rocket launcher than my personal ultimate crim'.

So folks, what's your idea of the Ultimate Criminal? Smart? Scruffy? /Care Style? Deranged Nutjob?

The master criminal isn't stupid enough to show anyone his face. He's a professional, when he's done his job right, you ever knew he was there.

the worst kind, for me it is the man that can convince you that he is actually a gentleman, while he stabs you on your back.

I am wondering if that is a coincidence or a reference to the Spy of TF2.

Well, as through the world I've rambled, I've seen lots of funny men. Some rob you with a sixgun, some with a fountain pen.

The best criminal is the one that doesn't get caught, and thus, not identified.

probably Ted Cazynsky or the Zodia Killer, they made the entire country stop and watch the news every day.

Commander 31 from Battlefield 2 or The Legionare from Battelfield Bad company come to mind. More commmander 31 because he instigated a war and almost ruled the entire world.

The kind and welcoming fella who you never suspect of dropping gum on the floor let alone stealing something. Why? Well no one would suspect him.

That failing, the clay man from the batman comics.

I would go further back and say Jack the Ripper who has fascinated world since the Victorian Era, and is probably the most infamous serial killer on record. He was never caught, but simply stopped killing, blending in with people around him, which is especially scary.
