Well I agree with the entire list.
Hell I even joined to say that I agree completely
I find it weird to see Raptor up there as every man and his dog round my area was playing that one, I didn't realize it wasn't so pervasive else where
I would like to add UFO: Aftermath, although I suspect that may be reversal on the above.

Wasnt that underrated game thread like a page ago?
Yes, but underrated implies that people didn't think as highly of it as they should have. Unjustly ignored games get high praise from the few people who do play it.

I do admit there is quite a lot of overlap, though.
I think we're splitting hairs here. The point is, there was a thread that could have served this purpose just as well. You can argue that it couldnt, and I could argue that it could, but all that would be a little too late seeing as how this thread already exists.

But at least now you know.

Why the hell is The Orange Box there? It's selling very well. Keep in mind that Steam also exists.

Also, I'd like to see the Pro Evolution Soccer series added. It's vastly superior to the more popular FIFA games, unfortunately.

I don't think Homeworld and to a lesser extent Homeworld 2 are recognised enough. Havent seen another strategy space sim on the same scale, or with the same level of storyline.

of course now everyone will jump on me with 100 other games identical to homeworld...

I Cold Blood was a great adventure game by Revolution Studios and DreamCatcher. I played that game for ever, but for some reason noone else did...

And the Sierra RPG Arcanum.

And last but not least...
Torin's Passage.
Sierra's deviation from the King's Quest series. A truelly fantastic game...

Yeah, happened the same in my neighborhood with the sega saturn. Everyone had it, and everyone found the ps1 inferior.

Baten Kaitos Origins. Come on, one of the best games I've ever played, has better humor than Portal, and yet no one's ever even heard of it?

"Is this the half-wit's witless half speaking?"
"Your squawking is creating more turbulence than those clouds!"
"Um...I'll get wood. Er...at the tree! Tree wood!"
"A koa monkey in heat wouldn't be this clingy."
"Who throws barrels at people? What are you, some monkey who's run off with a pretty wench?"

And that's not even a third of the humor. I left out funniest one too.

Is Okami an ignored game? Because you don't see people raving about it, and most people that hear about it get an odd "What the hell makes you think that sounds awesome?" kind of look on their faces.

When I get my Wii, I might just buy it again just for that.

Digital Devil Saga.

Shin Megumi Tensei.

I've played it once, but I'm fairly sure that a lot of people have never played/heard of Katamari Damacy. At least people that I know...

I don't know if this counts but Final Fantasy Tactics for ps1. Now here me out before you but the dust off the pitch forks and torches. I fell that the other RPG Final Fantasy games made this game over looked. Back when it first came out, I didn't know anyone else who had a copy of the game. I could be wrong but hay, that's my opinion.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.

Only two I can think of right now, but they're both good games that not many people know about. And by many people I mean all of my friends. Edit: Oh, and thanks for mentioning Conker's, the beach level alone was hours of entertainment with my friends way back when. I don't know a single person who hasn't at least smiled at the thought of a character named "The Great Mighty Poo", let alone that hilariously operatic song it sings. Great game, too bad it was near the end of the N64's life cycle.

I second Raptor being underlooked. Also, C&C - Renegade - Who cares if you can glitch through the floor of the map if the gameplay rocks? :D

After reading this list, I have only one thing to say.

Micael Ancel, for the love of all that is good in the world, PLEASE MAKE BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL 2. You think Halo 2 cried out for a sequel? You don't even know. This game was the single best game that no one ever played, and because of it, the inevitable and desperately needed sequel never released. PLEASE, to save all of us who DID experience the incredible sci-fi epic that was BG&E, make the sequel!!!!!

There was a pikmin 2?
Oh yes indeed, there was. No more thirty-day time limit. Two new Pikmin colors. Underground caverns to explore. Two explorers instead of one, making it far easier to multitask. It even had a two-player mode. To put it simply, Pikmin 2 blew its predecessor out of the water.

Lul reminds me of a BioShock knockoff that was made in Ukraine, had no story, and, in fact, was released before BioShock was. It's called You Are Empty. Basically, look it up. If you want to get it, note its just for comedy.

What about Killer7?
I would also add Prince of Persia: TSOT; the first, and by far the best one in the trilogy never gained the popularity (and the high sells) it deserved.
