Yes, one of my favourite bands is Ladyhawk, they're not too well known in the UK either.

Death Cab for Cutie.

Great band.
The O.C would never shut up about Death Cab.
I have this one song, which was labeled as a Breaking Benjamin song but it isnt. I LOVE the song but I have no fucking idea who tis by or even the name of it.
Anyway of finding out what it is?
Interpret Lyrics, enter into google/info, find artist.

Problem Solved :D

I hate these hipster cred threads. there's so much pretention thrown about, its insane.

but my two cents, I'm listening to We Made God, an Icelandic post rock band.

My favorite band of all time is Godspeed You! Black Emperor, another post rock band. Honestly though, most of the stuff I listen to is underground because mainstream pop music isn't necessarily bad, it just gets overplayed madly.
God's pee! Damn, I absolutely love that band. It completely revolutionalized my musical taste.

Hell yea QC is awesome. It'd be cool if he got a band together and played some shows but he probably doesn't have the time

Also, according to "hipster relativity" as explained by Jeph Jacques, according to indie culture, the less popular and more obscure a band is, the better it is, therefore, the greatest band of all time is a band that nobody's heard of. This would have to include the members, therefore, the greatest band in the world doesn't exist!

Oh here is a sampling of bands on my computer that I am sure most people haven't heard of.

The Agonist (Melodic Death Metal)
Arsonists Get All The Girls (Melodic Death Metal)
Battlesoul (Celtic Thrash)
Crystal Castles (Electronica)
Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip (Hip-Hop)
Evergreen Terrace (Thrash)
He Is Legend (Death Metal)
Hushpuppies (Garage Rock)
In This Moment (Melodic Death Metal)
Kamelot (Progressive Metal)
Lightning Bolt (Noise Rock)
Media Lab (Melodic Metal)
Priestess (Stoner Metal)
The Veils (Alternative Rock)

This is just a request, but would people mind adding what genre a band mostly plays or a similar sounding band so that we know what to expect?

Have any of you heard of Hey Monday? They only just came out. Oh, and if any of you are into Christian rock, Remedy Drive is awesome, I saw them in concert at Awakeningfest!!

Alabama 3, one of my favourite bands. I wouldn't expect anyone on here to know of them but if they do they earn my respect.
Alabama 3?!
Those guys are epic!
Jesus Christ, I listen to them all the time.

Step 1: You gotta consider yourself completely powerless under me, D. Wayne.

[small]I wasn't sure if it was D. or Dee[/small]

I know there big but The Offspring. I'm one 3 people within a 6 mile radius that likes them where i live, but OT: Year Long Disaster is ok. They opened for Foo Fighters last summer. They had terrible audio along with the other band before them so I had to go on Youtube to actually get a listen.

Nevermore. The melody of Tool mixed with the raw power of Pantera. And Mastodon, but you better be a real metalhead to like them.
