Nirvana's "Come As You Are."

Honestly, the way it sounded kind of creeped me out at 4 years old.

This is the first song I remember, its a little embaressing. But I suppose it explains where my love of cheesy pop comes from.

I think it was something by Oasis - my brother was really into them.
It may have been Don't look back in Anger or Wonderwall.

A caset version of "We're Going to the Zoo" which we used to listen to every day in the car...I loved it when I was younger, but now I just want to watch it drown..

A lullaby of sorts my mother used to sing for me, called Alle mann hadde fota (All the men had feet).

It's on Spotify:

You can listen to a sample here:

Track 106
All the men had feet
My man had none
So I took some birch roots
Made my man feet

My man danced forth
Feet and stockings he had
As good as any other man

All the men had arms
My man had none
So I took some guts
Made my man arms

My man danced forth
Gut-arms he had
As good as any other man

All the men had eyes
My man had none
So I took some sheep
Made my man eyes

My man danced forth
Sheep-eyes he had
As good as any other man

Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N Roses.

My parents used to play it for me when I was a toddler... Yeah I had young parents.

Probably the Spongebob Squarepants theme song.

I was absolutely obsessed with Spongebob as a child.

My parents were significantly older than most (and I was born in 90, if that says anything), so as for stuff I can remember, it was probably Gene Pitney's "Only Love Can Break A Heart" or Beach Boys "Surfin' Safari".

Did I mention my parents were significantly older than most?

Hmmm...a lot of Shania Twain. Lots and lots of Shania Twain. And I loved it.

My Grandparents had these truly bizarre kids records that they used to play when we went to visit them and this is the one that sticks out in the memory since my sister was scared of it

The very first was probably a very old LP my parents had. "Rock around the clock" by Bill Haley.

Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do", the version from Frampton Comes Alive!. Too bad Youtube doesn't have good videos of it.

'Otherworld' from FFX.
I'm a huge FFX fan, and this song introduced me to rock and heavy metal.
To be honest, there's probably something else from an earlier point in my life, but I can't be arsed to try and remember some crappy pop songs.

The theme song for a cartoon in Finland called PikkuKakkonen.
I think at least. Otherwise the Moomin theme.

Sweet home alabama. Dad had a mix tape of songs and it was the first song on it. Used to play it when we went for trips places.
