All the men had feet
My man had none
So I took some birch roots
Made my man feet

My man danced forth
Feet and stockings he had
As good as any other man

All the men had arms
My man had none
So I took some guts
Made my man arms

My man danced forth
Gut-arms he had
As good as any other man

All the men had eyes
My man had none
So I took some sheep
Made my man eyes

My man danced forth
Sheep-eyes he had
As good as any other man
Those lyrics are so twisted. It's like something out of a Brothers Grimm tale.

My brother and I were allowed to buy cassette tapes of our own choosing when I was four. This is what he and I chose.
As a cuteness bonus, I called her "the pretty lady with the guitar" because I could never remember the name.

Umm, probably something by Cher I guess? This is the earliest that I can definitively remember:

What? I was only 4 at the time.

I couldn't tell you the very first song I remember hearing but the very first song I learned all the words to was Wonderwall by Oasis when I was 3 or 4.

The Final Countdown by Europe.

And I'm happy it was that one because I can still listen to it today and agree that it is good. Unfortunately all my favorite bands are either dead, disbanded or not coming here on tours.

Damn kids these days and their crappy music.

Needless to say, from a very young age I loved dragons, and Dragonheart followed suit with that love.

I remember, and have been reminded of, telling the first time what my favorite song is. I was five years old.

Still like some Louis every now and then :)

The only song that really stands out from baby years is sweet emotion. I guess my young mind was thought "Woah this is trippy." On a side-note when I was still in the womb my Dad would put headphones on my moms stomach and play Ozzy Ozzbourne. Maybe fetal headbanging is the reason why I have so many cowlicks.

I remember my Dad singing this to me when I was about 3 years old.
My Dad doesn't smoke and he didn't want me growing up thinking smoking was ok so he changed some of the words. Cigarettes became clorettes.

My dad was a vietnam vet and got REALLLLLY into southern rock whilst there. So the songs I remember singing along to at the earliest were Creedence Clearwater Revival and Lynyrd Skynyrd

Nirvana's "Come As You Are."

Honestly, the way it sounded kind of creeped me out at 4 years old.
That makes me feel weird since I saw them in concert as a teenager.

Fun fact that song was made for 'space jam'.

Used to get so wound up as a kid listening to this.
Long long before I even really knew what 'bands or 'music' was.

They're warm and fuzzy is what the lyrics are :)

Strangely, none of my friends have heard the song. Whenever I ask someone, they're all like "The fuck kind of kids' song is that?".
