As the title Implies, this thread was made for your reactions to the finale of this incredible series. If you have yet to play Episode five, Please be warned as this thread WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. My thoughts:

It was bloody amazing. I didn't cry at the end, but I was so close to. It was sad, and set out what it meant to do. It was also predictable, but not in a bad way. Clem shooting Lee while shes all alone was going to be used to heighten the emotions of the player. It worked. If he'd just sacrificed himself to the Walkers, it wouldn't have had the same effect. This just worked absolutely perfectly.

That's my thoughts. If you've played it, definitely join in on the Conversation. Try and keep it in Spoiler Tags please.

It seemed really short compared to the other episodes. But I guess that lets me get to see alternative paths quicker.

DAMN YOU BEN! You just couldn't leave without finishing off the rest of the family, could ya??

One thing I'm wondering is...

Is the guy who took Clem the same guy if you didn't steal all the food from the car? What motive does he have if you took the other choice?

(Untagged spoilers below. You've been warned.)

Holy fucking fuck on a fuck. Fuck.

...

So, you know those threads that come along every so often asking if a game has ever made you cry?

Well, now I have something to say for the next one.

Kenny and Ben in the alley was bad enough. The ol' eyeballs were getting pretty bloody damp when I told Kenny his dead wife wouldn't want him to do what he was going to do and he responded with, "Actually, yes she would. I either save the kid or I get to see her again."

But the dam really broke near the end when Clementine was trying to help Lee walk along the counter. Whoo boy. Tears ensued. Proper tears. And then of course everything that followed.

Got downright frantic at that last hurdle too. My 'Q' key may never fully recover.

Damn them for that last tiny seed of doubt after the credits though. That was cheap. Now I have to convince myself that the two figures on the hill can't have been anyone other than Omid and Christa.

Regardless, The Walking Dead just rocketed into my all time favourites. Top ten material, easy.

God, I watched it on YouTube last night and holy fuck, was it sad. Those QTE's when Lee is trying to stand up, and how they are against you made me fucking hate TellTale so much. Goddamn, can't wait to play it myself. I don't even know what they plan to do with season 2.

I was actually handling it fine at that point, it was near the end when she started pointing the gun shaking that i started to waiver, and by the time i selected my advice to give her (keep your hair short) i started to cry, and when i said don't be afraid, i cracked completely, I just finished about 10 minutes ago and I'm still crying.

He's been listening to what you've been doing over the radio. He had a go at me for killing the guy with the pitchfork, leaving Lilly behind, and something else.
I'm still to busy dealing with everything fucking else that happened in this to remember.

Jesus fucking christ.

My thoughts are, that i can't even finish the damn game.

At what i think is the last bit where lee and clementine are in the room together, there's a object or something to the far left of the screen.

My cursor is only just not able to go that far, because the game limits how far the cursor can go for some reason. There's an invisible wall between the cursor and the object, basically.

I just finished it...

and sheeeeet...I almost cried. Almost but not enough due to knowing what was going to happen. The only thing I'm bloody wondering about is the scene after the credits...I mean who IS that!?

And what the Flying fork is going to happen!?

Will we get a session 2, I'm hoping so, but I HAVE no idea what is going to happen!?

Still this whole game made me poop myself...it is pretty damn worth it for the great price. I was satisfied with the whole game.

Also...I was always good guy Lee who wanted everyone to stay alive.
The arm part...Jesus.

Great game overall and I love it...hoping for more. :D

I didn't take his stuff and he still wants to kill me, saying that I'm a bad person for bringing Clem to Crowford bla bla bla... I killed him for Kenny

...made me feel.

As soon as i chose the "I'll miss you, Clem" option i just broke down sobbing.

My eyes were so watery i couldn't even find a razor to slit my wrists open.

As to that credit scene, for some reason i get the feeling that one of those guys may be our next season protagonist.

I did not like that cutting off my arm did shit, I did not like that no one think to try antibiotics or antivirals when they've been bit. I did not like that stupid cliffhanger at the end, fuck that. Bt overall a good game. I regret going back to my save file and saving ben. It also did not read my saves correctly, Clemintine DID NOT EAT MARK.

EDIT: tried to do a full replay, well low and behold, after episode 2, whenever I try 3, it starts at the begining of episode 1. Tried the save swap, nothing. I gotta say, this has apparently been a problem since episode 4 came out, a month and a half ago(360), telltale is pretty bad at patching the game.

Not reading... not reading... will play tonight when I'm home from work. Very excited. I have no thoughts to share yet, but I will. The spoilers are so tempting but I will not click.

Only 4 hours till I'm home. Then I have to bake cookies for tomorrow, then I will play.

Manly tears were shed. :(

God it was sad. I had this small bundle of hope that Lee would make it, but then it all came crashing down. Omid/Christie HAVE to be up on that hill.

I liked it a lot, it was great ending to the first season but ep5 seemed really short compared to the others, a bit disappointed about that but otherwise i liked it.

It was good.

Notice that I said good. Not great.

The cliffhanger at the end was pretty cheap, and the way they just cut it off when Lee either gets left behind och shot was pretty fucking jarring. The episode also hammers home that your descisions de facto mean absolutely nothing except for diffrent flavor text from a psychopath. It ranges from understandable and acceptable (Chop off your arm? Doesn´t matter, Lee dies anyway. I mean, what did you expect?) to disappointing (You only got one man to come with you? Doesn´t matter, all of them come with you anyway!) to downright fucking rage-inducing (Saved Ben? He dies before doing anything meaningful!)

That being said, it was still and amazing finale, and I really look forward to seeing what direction they decide to go in with season 2.

But I´m also concerned about it. From that cliffhanger, I assume they´re going to keep following Clementine. But that raises a whole lot of potential problems. First off, if they try to replicate the bond that Lee and Clementine had, they cheapen the whole of season 1. But how else are they going to do it? And that´s not a rhetoric question. If you have an idea, please tell me, because I really can not see it being done in any way that´s even close to as meaningful as season 1.

Secondly, if they do decide to leave Clementine, they leave their fans with an unresolved cliffhanger that´s incredibly unsatisfying.

Too me, it just seems like damned if you do, damned if you don´t.

That said, I´m still hyped. Hopefully our choices will matter more in season 2.
