The correct pronunciation is ee-rock/ih-rock.

When tensions start to rise with Iran because of their nuclear program it might be helpful to learn it's called ih-ran as well.

ee-rack is more like it. never heard anyone pronounce it ih-rock. so the real pronunciation, if there is such a thing, is between what you said, and what the Americans say.

There are idiots all over the world that pronounce nuclear as "nu-ku-lar". I'm an American, and I pronounce Iraq as "Ee-rock", Iran as "Ee-rahn" Arab as "Air-rahb" Nuclear as "New-clee-ar". You need to stop being a douche bag, pronounced "doosh-bag" and realize not all Americans are idiots, and we know the names of the countries we're invading. The correct British pronounciation is closer to "Mosque-oh" than the German and American way - "Moss-cow". :-/
