Its about 85 (Fahrenheit, I dunno what that would be for the rest of the world.) and humid here in Western New York. Around here, however, its not uncommon to see all four seasons in the span of thirty minutes. I shit you not, we have had snow in June.

The weather was quite nice during the day, not too cold or rainy. Now it's quite chilly, but it is the middle of the night right now.
North Yorks/England.
Is this meant to imply that a certain amount of cold and rainy is preferred to warm sunniness?

You British are a queer lot.

Kind of.
I'm not a huge fan of rain, but I really don't like hot weather or too much sun. Anything above 20*C and I will melt, as for the sun, being cursed with ginger hair and pale skin, I burn really easily.

cloudy like it always is when there isn't any rain.

I love in Washington State and though i love the cool whether and rain, a lot of people hate it because it's always cloudy and raining.
You must be to the north of me because down here in Vancouver (yes we have one of those in Washington) its pretty sunny, although I wouldn't call the weather warm. We got some showers earlier but its been pretty bright as of late.

I hate it.
Well I'm in the puget Sound reason and it's sunny now but that will only be for a few moments :(

North Dakota is flooding like a mother due to late thawing in the Rockies. The Missouri is currently fucking shit up pretty bad style. Record flooding is imminent throughout the state. Luckily I'm waaay above the flood waters. Nat Guard is on top of it.
So the news is sort of like: "North Dakota facing massive flooding, dozens evacuated by the National Guard!"

[sub]Sorry, I can't ever pass up an opportunity to pass up making jokes at the expense of North Dakota's blandness.[/sub]
What I'm most displeased about is the buffalo hunt disruption.
Well, I'm lucking I'm even online with the 56k. :S
Maybe I'll take a few hour drive tomorrow to hang out in the nearest town.

In all honesty we're pretty bland ... German and Norwegian tradition and heritage is boring ... and fattening.

Also, in all honesty, when I read the 'dozens' thing, I didn't skip a beat. I had to reread it hahahaha. But, that is the benefit of this flat, flat land. No one gives two squirts about us :D.

It was f*&^&%&**(^ng HOT today, upwards of 80 degrees (Fahrenheit, of course) and probably a comprable percentage humidity. And I wore black. Bad walk home.

East Texas: hot, so hot. >90 F (32 C) is the summer norm here, >100 (37 C) isn't uncommon. You literally can fry eggs on dashboards, streets and sidewalks here. It also gets humid enough that some of my out-of-state relatives have complained about it being hard to breathe, though I don't really notice that myself.

While studying abroad, I once mentioned that I was too hot, and someone said "Why are you complaining about the heat? You're from Texas." "Precisely," said I, "Like most intelligent people in Texas, I stay indoors all summer long and therefore have no heat tolerance."

Why anybody chose to settle here I will never understand.

Rain, almost constantly for a week up to the last couple of days, which've been blessed by sunshine. It seems spring has finally decided to turn up, just as we begin summer. :p

Currently it is quite warm but the last week has been really odd. Twas in teh 80's F, then it rained... A LOT. Then the high was only 50 or 60 degrees F. Rained again. Then the high hit the 90's.
The weather has been as indecisive as I am.

Well, here on Long Island, New York, we were SUPPOSED to be getting hit with some strong thunder-storms with heavy winds bringing some much-needed cooler air.
But the sun came out at 10 am and its been hot-as-balls all day.

It's sunny here for the first time in god knows how long, we've been getting hit by a few thunder storms recently and they've been pretty big. But I live in Erie and we have some of the worst weather ever so I'm used to it.

Today in england it was pretty hot. I don't know why I thought it would be a great idea to walk from my flat to the city centre. I really regret doing that now.
