"Very well, Fahrenheit. I believe I know how to get back to my world, but I will need your help." Grant turned to Ribbon "as well as yours, Ribbon. I share a kind of... bond with Jantra, so I can sense him in my dreams. It would be much easier if you could put me to sleep. If I can reach him, and he doesn't decide to kill us, we will should have the power to bring everyone back to where they were."

"But first..." Grant looked down at the shredded and burned remnants of his robe which barely kept him covered."... I think I need a new wardrobe. Where might I acquire some new clothes? I would prefer a robe, but I would settle for whatever the nobles in this land wear. I wouldn't want to look like a peasant or some other fool."

Ribbon smirked. "Your new name is "Watermelon". May our every conversation be a pocket universe of agony for you." Ribbon was the greatest troll alive. People would write books on her merciless escapades.

Ribbon started spinning her arms, loosening up for a knockout blow. "To my knowledge there's an orphanage and a nunnery you can rob for clothes. I dunno if either of them'd stock in your size, though."

"We don't have nobles here. The closet thing we have to that is Mayor Steve's outfit."

Ribbon would hear something very much like Cait's voice saying, "*****" to her.

Tyler looked from Cait to Ribbon, but decided not to say anything. Women weren't his specialty anyway.

"Very well... I shall search what's left of this town for anything that could fit me. I still find it hard to believe that you don't have nobles here. This world is very strange to me. What are those glass and metal contraptions along the street? Some kind of vehicle?"

Grant shook his head. "I'm rambling aren't I? Never mind. I'm off to find a new outfit." Grant said as he walked away towards the nearest building.

It just so happened that Grant wandered into a Tailor shop. "Take whatever you want! Just don't hurt me!" Said the tailor from beneath the desk. The tailor actually had quite a nice selection of suits and ties.

Grant found a blue suit and a gold tie that fit him. These clothes are strange, but I must admit that they look like someone in power would wear them. I like it.

Grant approached the man crouching behind the counter. "Here," he said, extending his arm ,holding the remnants of his robe. "That is real gold thread in this robe. If gold is valuable in this world, accept it as my payment."

Maria walks into the tailor shop, to return the scissor she stole just seconds ago, and saw Grant with his new robe. She whistled amorously, "Looks good on you!"

"Uh... Sure strange person." He said taking the robe and still cowering underneath his desk.

Lester woke up, and got out the car.
"Oh hey everyone! Sorry I dozed off again, it was just so warm-"
The truck appeared and turned Lester into a red paste against the wall. A man wearing dark shades looked out the window.
"Why the fuck would they give a mostly blind man keys to a truck?"

Grant turned around to face Maria. "I'm not going to make the mistake of underestimating anyone here again. Are you also a mage, miss? I am Grant, the Librarian. I am also a master cryomancer. Who are you?" Even as Grant spoke calmly, he still entered a battle stance, prepared to fight if Maria was hostile.

"Hey, Grant, are you ready for your daily dose of- oh, shit, Magical Girl! What the fuck is up? I thought Protoman killed you," Ribbon said. She hadn't been expecting to bump into Maria when she entered the tailor's. "Y'know, you two guys in here, I figure the pair of you could probably take on Mr. Fahrenheit out there. Don't test that out just yet, though, people've spent enough time fighting that dude for now. I wanna get home, finally."

"Maria O'Connor! I am an Emissinary of the Ring of Gods that encompasses Gods, past, present, and future! I enjoy long wakes on the beach and things that don't smell like oxyg-Magical girl? Don't pile me together with some whiny pre-teens who ain't down with existentialism. It's a tough fact we all me get used to."

"Jesus Hong!" Screamed Maria, as the whole tailor shop jumped around. "The Tartarus was that?!" Maria hustled out of the shop to find a large truck had crashed into the city hall. "Jesus Xiuquan Hong! This is an attack on the capital! Does the Scratchy One's evil know no bounds?!"

"Man. That dude hit the fuck out of this wall," Ribbon observed, staggering out of the shop. "Ah, he just missed the car! That's good, Watermelon only just got done patching that thing up." Ribbon would have been distraught if she knew of Top Guy Lester's fate, but what remained of him was pressed snugly between the truck's bonnet and the wall of the outfitter's, so snugly that she couldn't see a trace of it.

"Sorry mam, I didn't mean to seem like a Communist and attack City Hall. Honestly, really seemed like I was still on the road."
The man opened the door and got out.
"Can you direct me to the local mechanics? This truck is a rental, so I'm gonna need it repaired."
