Lester blushed and stammered out a nearly silent thanks. He then noticed Sigma.
"Oh, I'm not sure about her...Maybe it's all the blood on her clothes, but I'm gonna stay a little bit away if that's alright. In fact, maybe I'll go get that notepad anyway."
Lester began walking off towards his car.

 

[SamRatsbane]

"That dude's got a car... hey, man, hold up!" Ribbon started shuffling after Lester, as fast as she could without having to break into a run. "Hey, sound guy! How did you get here?" That was a redundant question to ask. He got there in his car. "I mean, where did you come from? Like, where are we? What are you doing here?"

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Oh, well... I don't know." Lester started looking around nervously.
"I mean, I'm presuming England. I was just going for a drive, then the road signs stopped showing up, and a bunch of trees appeared. Next thing I knew, I was stuck deep in the forest."

 

[SamRatsbane]

"England? Jesus. How did I get to England...?" Ribbon lived in Xandus Capital, which was quite as far away from England as you could get. I mean, she presumed it was; Ribbon had never heard of a place called "England" in her life. She didn't pay much attention in school, though. Ribbon must have gotten up to something pretty heavy to end up in a place she'd never heard of.

"Hey, drive me somewhere. I mean, not anywhere in particular, I just wanna get a scope for where we are." Ribbon turned back to the mute. "You'd better come along too, if you wanna get that notebook. The rest of you can do what you want, I guess." The car clearly wasn't going to fit everybody, but Ribbon wouldn't mind having some more company. Maybe that other girl would come along too, and she wouldn't be the only one in the sausage-wagon.

 

[MinimanZombie]

Lester gladly but silently led the group that was following to the car.
"Here she is, one of the most expensive things I've ever bought."

He opened the door and got into the Drivers seat.
"Yeah, there's room for 3 or 4 more people, I guess."

 

[Sigma Castell]

"Sweet"
Sigma slid into the car. Like a snake. Only more human-shaped.

 

[SamRatsbane]

"Jammy. I'm gonna pass out back here, alright. Wake me up when there's an update." Ribbon slumped into the back seat of the car, did her seatbelt up and then swiftly fell unconscious.

After Ribbon, Sigma and Jack all entered the car, Lester started it up. The car wheezed to life and shuddered. Lester put his foot down on the Accelerator and the car moved forward.

Iowa had sat in the back with his chest. He demanded that he should keep this chest on him at all times. "Affinity is greed I guess. When I see something valuable, I will try to find the easiest way to get it."

 

[Outisakanobody]

As the car traveled, it would quickly come up to a man in a dark green suit and similarly colored fedora that almost helped him blend into the surrounding foliage. Almost. He also had a creme/orange colored tie. He was leaning against a tree and whistling. The man didn't really seem to notice the car.

Lester hit the brakes and slowed to a halt, just beside the man in the suit after a few seconds. He rolled down the window.
"Uh, hey there friend. I'd offer a ride but...well we're pretty full. You could sit in the boot? Might be uncomfortable though..."

The man seemed to consider his options for a moment. "Well, it would be better than standing around here. Might at well." he said. People may or may not notice that this man looked remarkably like a young Micheal Douglas.

"Hey! Don't you know Hitch hikers are dangerous. Leave him at the side of the road."

"What road?" the man asks Jack, looking unamused by his suggestion.

 

[Demonjazz]

"The metaphorical one!"

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Well, he's not really a hitchhiker. He's just..."
I look at the man.
"Y-You know, you look remarkably like Micheal Douglas back in his prime."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"I am NOT Micheal Douglas!" the man said as he pointed a finger at Lester. "Anyway, are you going to open the trunk or not?"

 

[Demonjazz]

"We can't let the fedora man in. This guy is obviously insane, no sane man would ride in a trunk. Plus I need to cash all my treasure in."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Oh lord. Uh...Well he can't hurt us if he's in the trunk, can he?"
I get out and open the trunk.
"Just give us a shout if you're uncomfortable, you hear?"

"Just try not to drive crazily." the man said before entering the trunk.
