Or maybe liking someone, and having them being friendly and affection with you because that's how they are to all their friends, but knowing they like someone else and you still have to be just their friend.

Being uncertain or unsure of things in your life, your life period or yourself. Nothing causes more damage in my opinion by not being sure, and usually it leads to bad decisions and other bad feelings, like anger, egotism, being biased or depressed, and the like. I know this because, I used to be unsure about my life, and it was a mess. Once I figured out everything and how sure I was of all my choices, who I was, where I wanted to go and how I would get there, I've eliminated 98% of my problems! :)
I'm very uncertain about life and I have no longer term goal or focus... but I seem to be doing okay, I usually just go with the flow of things unless other people are depending on me. I am a a type B personality [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_A_and_Type_B_personality_theory] so that probably has something to do with it...

OT: Disappointment, I hate the feeling of being inadequate but because of my personality I usually don't try and than suck it up so I can use it as a excuse later...

Being cheated on was pretty cool...oh and having the girl tell you that she is going off to have someone elses children and that you are worthless.

Oh. Wow, you're right. The suppressed memories finally breaking free... trapped in a circle of lego, always shrinking, always shrinking. Mustn't blink, mustn't move. The lego will get me. That's how it gets in, through your feet. The foot is the seat of the sole. Lego soul. Click.

Clack.

Clack.

This is going to take me a lot of counselling to get over.

Maybe you do need counselling.

Being told you have AIDS, while being told everyone you've ever met died while setting up a surprise party for you while being kicked in the balls, passing a kidney stone and coughing up portions of your lung from pulmonary anthrax. . .and then being a devout religious person, discovering that your chosen deity doesn't exist.

That is just. Perfect in every way.

Whenever I get a response like that, I know that at the very least, I can consider today a success.

If I ever have kids; I'm going to wait until they move out and pour legos all over their floor while they sleep.

REVENGE!

Being trapped. I have a touch of wanderlust and, when I can't go anywhere, I start becoming impatient and irritable.

The feeling that you missed an opportunity. Fuck, that's the only thing that ever keeps me up at night.
I FUCKING HATE regret. Whether it's something I did or something I didn't do, it's what keeps me up at night.

Also, knowing that the world's steadily spiralling down and down, and even amid all the great and wonderful visions of a better future, likely nothing will change. That keeps me up at night too.

Being told everything you do is wrong by someone you look up to.
I can get over that with some mild depression and self inflicted wounds...

Being unable to help those that you care about. That's not a fun feeling.
