After that, would be The Dark Knight, with it's terrible acting.
Are you trolling? The Dark Knight has a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and it's the film that let superhero films win something at the Oscars for acting no less. Not only was Heath Ledger excellent in it, but so was Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Michael Caine. While you may not have liked the film, you can't fault it for it's acting.
Sorry, not trying to troll. I just didn't see what everybody liked in Heath, and whoever played Batman? Damn it that was bad. It was all guttural.

Highlander 2 : The Quickening. I'm rather surprised no one else has said it yet. Although, I did laugh when Sam Fisher threw Dr. Cox out of a window. The rest of the movie.........ugh.

Disaster movie. What an epic piece of shite that was. In fact I turned it off halfway through. Never did that before.

Really? no one mentioned this yet? Then i'll do it: AVATAR!!!
and ofcourse the twilight saga.
You think it's the worst movie EVER? Really? Sure, the plot was hardly original, but it wasn't godawful.

But yes, Twilight is just fucking awful.

Did a project on bad movies for my grade 12 drama class. My buddy and I compiled a list of godawful movies, watched a bunch of them, and compiled a top 10 list. They were:

Freddy Got Fingered
Stealth
Battlefield Earth
Baby Geniuses 2
Troll 2
Pinocchio (starring Roberto Benigni). This is the only movie we skipped parts of.
The "Movies" in general (Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, etc.)
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Gigli
And I think Batman and Robin made the cut too.

what would you say is the worst movie ever.

IMDB claims its something called "super babies: baby geniuses 2".
Well, I saw that movie and it was pretty damned terrible. I saw this only movie adaptation of "The Most Dangerous Game" that was pretty terrible, but it was so bad it was good.

Pretty much anything directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, you know, the hacks that brought us such classics as Scary Movie, Epic Move, Disaster Movie and Meet the Spartans. Compared to their movies, Battlefield Earth might as well be The Godfather.

I swear, there is a small circle in hell reserved for these two d*ckheads, and it's definitely more exclusive than the one Hitler's got.

Tron. It was soooooo boring!!!
You sir are a fool. I challenge that. Tron was a great movie that was a work of art and should be recognized for that. Just because it's old or something? is that why it was sooooo very boring? It was made in 1981 for god's sake it had the first CGI in a motion picture. Give Tron a break.

Has anyone mentioned the French Film "Hidden", here's a quick plot summation -

The First 5 minutes are watching a door (Literally, just a door. Not even an interesting door, just a door)

THEN

something is said in French about the main characters childhood... theres a flashback to where he blames one of his parents farmhands for wringing the neck of a chicken, it then cuts back to present day where the accused person is stalking the main character 2 seconds later

Here's the spoiler though - It ends on the accused guy cutting his own throat infront of the main guy.

WHY? To be honest, who knows, i dont give a sh*t!

Oh and "The Others"/"Contact" - Each film is 2 hours long, building up all the way through the film for *and get this* NOTHING TO HAPPEN!!!!!????

I bet the financiers were p*ssed off about that one!

Batman and Robin, then Battlefield Earth. Battlefield Earth is probably worse overall, but Batman and Robin is so in-your-face with the shitty puns at every turn that it takes the cake for me.

Well i still think that it's a very bad movie, but i just watched another one that has taken the first place with ease; The House of the Devil.
It's about a girl that ends up babysitting at a house where people try pregnating her with the devil's child. Sounds fun doesn't it? it would be if something would actually happen within the first hour and a half into the film. You watch her walk on the street, talk to friends, get a babysitters job, and eat pizza on the coach of an empty house (like babysitters normally do). This all happens while the music tries to build up tension at the worst chosen moments and you're forced to listen to 10 minutes of screaching violins while the camera slowly zooms in on a Babysitters ad and nothing actually happens.... Only in the last ten minutes the story suddenly kicks in and with a blink of an eye everything happened and you're left behind regretting you actually saw through the damn thing and throwing the dvd in a vulcano, for the cause of it never being able to haunt anyone else.

Any Uwe Boll movie
This, with the possible exceptions of 'Postal' and 'Stoic'. The former is a bad movie, but it stays true to the source material and is even amusing at times. The latter because, shockingly, it's not even that bad of a movie. Certainly no 'worst movie ever' material.

Worst movies in my opinion:
The Giant Gila Monster (half of it was stock footage, and a gila monster walking around a scale town, and you could see the stick they used to "motivate" the lizard to move)

Plan 9 From Outer Space (do I really need to explain?)

The Fantastic Four (in fact, most comic book movies were bad)

Transformers (I don't know why, but this movie never clicked for me)

Napolean Dynamite(It wasn't funny. I laughed once. And it was a chuckle. The movie is bad, but people love it for some reason.)

The Twilight monstrosity (I have never seen any of them, but I can tell you the plot of all three in one question from the girl in it: "do I want to practice beastiality or necrophilia?")

Master of Disguise with Dana Carvey.....so bad I couldn't even get to the end of it...and that's bad. I will usually suffer through a movie just to see if it has any redeeming qualities. Avatar was another one that I had a problem getting through...took three tries to make it to the end.

I just want to put this out there: Napoleon Dynamite. I can recall the first time I saw this "movie". After the first half hour, I was wondering if I had gotten the wrong one because people said it was supposed to be funny. Never laughed once, and I thought the characters were basic to the extreme. No where did the plot really have a direction to go, or any sense to make. If this were a movie designed to be so bad it was funny, then it totally sucked at that too.
As my above post restates, I too hated this movie. The one chuckle I got from it was when that farmer shot a cow in the face in front of a school bus full of children. I'll back you up on this one 110%.

Cloverfield or Gosford Park. And yeah I know most people are gonna be like "Cloverfield was awesome! What's wrong with you?!?" An hour and a half of "Rob! Rob! ROB! ROB! ROOOOOOOOBBBB!!" That's what is wrong with me. Its my opinion, deal with it!
Sure, you may think it's horrible, but saying that it's "THE WORST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!" is simply untrue. Don't worry though, I can do better [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383222/].
of the movies I've seen, it WAS the worst of all time. Like I said, my opinion. I actually got more enjoyment out of Bloodrayne, though admittedly it was pretty awful.
I'm not movie savvy enough to get in on any particulars, so to each his own I guess...

Saving Private Ryan. It's a poor man's "Longest Day" imo. But that's just me.

About the infamous Batman and Robin, it's okay. It was a complete turn around compared to the Burton flicks, but if you read the old comics and watched the 60's show, it does click with those.
Just depends if you WANT it to click with those.
