You must wait to be dismissed from the caffeteria to play outside. (But I'm finished eating...)

That is the no hitting rule in school. you know the bully hits you etc. and you get pissed off and boom hit the bully in the face. then boom instant detention and maybe expulsion.
I remember asking the Principal in my 7th grade class about this when he was doing a lecture in front of the entire 3rd hour. I asked, "What if you're jumped by multiple people, and the only way to even go for help is to fight?" To which he responded, "Fights always build up, so what would happen could be prevented, therefore you also will be to blame for not asking for help sooner." Before my jaw could drop, I asked, "Okay, so, what if the kid is small and the bullies just decided to start beating him up?" After stuttering like the fat bastard he was for a moment, he said some stupid cop-out statement like, "Then he should go for help-next question please." Am I the only one who thinks public schools should be burned to the ground?

My school's reference of "vandalism" is in fact quite vague and is reinforced more than any other rule there. Vandalism of school property can be as extreme as taking a chainsaw to a few trees and the smashing the statue, or it could be something as insignificant as spitting on the ground or punching/kicking a wall. People are being given referrals for this while others are getting away with texting and calling during class time.

Oh sure, punching walls and spitting on the floor is detracting from out learning yet texting to your *finger to mouth* GF! [/valleygirlvoice] that "OMG 1 WNT 2 FUX ROBERT PATTINSON SOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!1!"

The next stupid rule I was subjected to was the TPD's unofficial "Zero Chances" policy. What this translates to is that if you are within the line of sight of an officer, by doing anything suspicious (i.e. reaching into your jacket or pocket) that officer has been unintentionally been given consent to put your hand behind your back and your face into the pavement next to McDonald's wrappers and dog shit. However if their search warrants nothing, then you must be released.

The one time I fell victim to this policy was when I was taking my bike behind the Gamestop I was working at to anchor it to some pipes. Two officers were talking to somebody, both had their hands on thier pistols with the holster snap undone.

So I reach into my jacket to grab my key to unlock the my anchor. The next thing I know my face has been jammed up against the fuse box and my hands restrained. Yes, I have been fucking arrested, and now my keys are caught my jacket around my waist and I can't show the officer I was reaching for my keys [/RAAAAAAAGE]. So after a quick search which yields nothing they let me go and end up walking through the door at work a few minutes late. Great fucking job TPD.

Oh thats all too familliar. And the "No hat, no play" rule. No hat! no play! No school today! Huzzah! *throws school work into the air*

There was this teenage fashion competition that I wanted to go in. I saw past work and thought I might have a pretty damn good chance at winning. So I started getting all these ideas in my head and getting really excited. Then I read the rules. It said you HAVE to be in school to enter. I'm 18 and can't even enter! I was bitter for a whole week.

School Uniform and all the lecutres that come with not wearing it.

It's not that I'm trying to be rebellious and not wear it right, it's just bloody uncomfortable, can't some people just see that? Thankfully, college has less screwed up rules about that stuff

Not being allowed to run during recess in grade school because someone might fall or get hurt. Then all the teachers complained when we went back to class full of leftover excitement and energy from our brief freedom.
No correcting the teacher because they're the adult and always right (actually said by our principal) and no having intelligent discussions about politics or religion or life because the teacher is trying to teach us about dangling participals or false history.

no hats inside
now hear me out, this was NOT a classy school, it's primary function was that half of the budget went to special needs, that includes repairs and equipment. I could go on but I wont, anyways the heating was controlled in a building that was 50 km away so when we are sitting in 10[sup][sup]0[/sup][/sup]C temperature's we CAN'T wear a Took because there is no hats inside

I got an in school suspension for supposedly making fun of the teacher, which falls under the rule which saids "Students are not allowed to respond negatively to authority in any way". I didn't. I just made a funny joke about how she dressed. They overreacted.

High School dress codes are pretty ridicules where I'm from. They do such a half assed job of enforcing it that NO ONE is ever in dress code.

The law of association, I fucking hate it.

These fags once made a gay test, it was if you have a fist and someone touches it, you cant open your hand untill you slap a girl's ass.

It spread quickly and soon alot of people where doing it. Some girls where allowing this to happen and just let people slap them. I chose to not get involed and just said every time it happend to me "so you touching me makes me gay, I think you need to learn what the word gay means", they would walk away and i'd open my hand.

So since I stayed neutral, the best thing to do, I got a 2 MOTHER FUCKING HOUR detention because i didnt do anything.

WHAT THE FUCK.

And the school resourse officer said the next person to do this would get to jail.

So a few days latter me and some friends where fooling around, someone grabbed something I had and I grabbed his fist trying to get it, and guess what happens, I get to ride in the fucking squad car.

WHAT THE FUCK, i get in trouble for no fucking reason. I have had no previous offences either, apart from being late alot.

try rule about the amount of food you can take and no leaving school ground policy, in one school they called the cops because one student too one too many fishsticks and then when you are hungry there was a small kiosk on the other side of the road that sold cheap food, but you cant go there, even though its so close you can throw a rock at it from the main entrance and its plain visible
