I hope it´s the lack of social interaction that leaves you unsatisfied because WOW gameplay is like trying to race against formula 1 cars with a original T-Ford

so either get a good chat program or pick up a good fps with a few friends so you can avoid the 13 year old who things he owns because he camps in a corner.

PlHmmmm. I recommend Fallout 3. Try getting into it. It took me half a year to "beat" that game, using the word "beat" loosely, as you can't really complete it 100%.
What if I bought all the DLC, and got 100% of all the trophies on PS3 from the DLC and main game? is that considered 100%? Cos I finished Fallout in July after starting in January.

Crappy gameplay, even worse graphics, and more idiots then can be found is Halo 3 Xbox Live.
Yes because graphics make the game. And the community on my server is generally quite friendly towards new players. If you don't like MMOs then they're not your type of game. That's fair enough. But don't go putting them down for stupid reasons.
Don't start... Just don't... This will only end badly, and to be honestly, as long as it's 3D, the grahpics are good, and you can't say terrible gameplay unless it is completly flawed, like Demon's Souls Dodge Button, or the cover system of Amry of Two: The 40th Day (Seriously... don't even bother with it...).

You're going to be bored until you find something else to do. Try watching random videos online or looks for new webcomics.
Ughhh, my Webcomic phase...
I actually spent all of my Saturday while my friend was out of town once just reading the Webcomic "Pokemon X" and I loved every second of it...
Speaking of which, the dude never finished it did he? Can someone link it? It features a Machoke, Machokin' his chicken!
Also I read every XKCD comic ever...
Yeah... in a single day, I aint proud.

Try to figure out why you became "addicted" to it to begin with.

Usually, the constant need for the escapism WoW provides is rooted in something going on in your life. I've been there (I still play to and fro, mind you), and the reason I found consolation in the escapism was because I was having a hard time with school and my douchebag dad, and to avoid confronting my problems, sought to escape from them instead.

After I got my problems sorted out, the need to log on diminished. I still play (my account is frozen atm, though, because I really cba paying for it right now), but not nearly as much as I did when I was doing anything to avoid confrontation about my problems in school.

stop trying to find a replacement, or you'll just keep comparing it and thus think of WoW
find a new genre, like platform or fps

or y'know, do something productive... like going outside?

Watch every Star Wars movie in a row. Alternatively, be like me and get addicte to Hulu instead.
It has every South Park EVER. Great huh?

No, not great, it doesn't let UK residents watch it.

Get your computer fucked over.

You won't be able to play until you get it fixed.

Your 'need' for it wears off.

???

PROFIT!
That's pretty much how I stopped.

Quitting WoW is a very wise decision.

There's a million and a half threads written by the same people as you. Why don't you read the responses on that thread?

Anyway, try going outside or doing something else. How hard can it be really? It's not Cocaine is it?

What you need is someone to tell you how worthless you are as a human being to make you give up, so I suggest joining the army.

Yeah, I play WoW, but the end game content is just not good or substantial enough to keep on playing forever...

Had some fun with 3.3 last week, but now it's no news till Cataclysm next year.

Why do people always make such a big deal over WoW. My advice is to just play other games. Mind you my highest guy was a level 25 gnome warrior so I probably don't have much to say. But I did once manage to gain 10 levels in three hours.
