Did anyone else think Apocalypse looked kinda like Aaron Taylor Johnson? I swear it looked just like him. Weird.

Also what did you think of it as a tease overall?

Honestly I wasn't sure who that was or if it was supposed to be a dude or a woman. I don't think it adds anything to the movie and is mostly there as a form of fanservice, kind of like the endings of Cap 2 & Thor 2. Every time I see one of these I flash back to The Incredibles ending where the digger guy pops out of the blue and says "Now you have to defeat ME! Muahaha!". Cheap and random.

It's directly leading to X-Men: Age of Apocalypse.

I have no idea who that actor you're referring to but in saying so I am bad at remembering actor/ actress names unless they are the big popular ones.

Anyway, I'm pretty stoke for them to bring that villain next into the X men franchise (I wonder if we see Mr Sinister at some point if they still keep the right to X-Men).
Still I wonder if they going for the comicbook look or something similar but not quite?

I doubt they will keep the blue lip but I betting the marking on the lip will be kept.

I'm wondering more on who the four horsemen of Apocalypse could be? Either they esablist War, Farmine, Death (well some of us know who Death is going to be) and Pestilence as new characters or having the selected cast being turned into his horsemen (minus Angel since he definitely going to be Death) since in the comic, Wolverine did at one point got turned into one of his horsemen.

Does it? X-Men: Age of Apocalypse is already listed on IMDB for 2016. The scene tells us nothing you couldn't gather from reading the title. It's just Apocalypse standing on a cliff. They could show that scene at the beginning of the next movie and it wouldn't make a difference.

I was disappointed by it. I know that Gambit becomes one of the four horsemen but he's not in the franchise.

He's actually going to be in the 2016 Apocalypse movie.

Played by Channing Tatum...

Okay, so Apocalypse can just literally create matter right? How the fuck does anyone beat him then? Isn't he just a god like Dr.Manhattan?

Can someone fill me in here?
In the comics, while Apocalypse is really old, he's not immortal - he does age, just very slowly. Think of him as the first Earth-born Asgardian. He uses revitalizing chambers like Ra's Al Ghul, plus his true body is buried behind a dense layer of Celestial armor. Celestials being giant city-size beings who populate planets with mutants in order to protect offspring growing within its core. Ok, it gets weirder but I'll stop there. Anyway, he is killable because, while very difficult, it is possible to peel his armor away and get at the fleshy bits within. Jean did it. Or catch him when he has a need to recharge. Destroy all his chambers and he could just die of extreme old age. Currently in the comics there's Apoc's kid clone learning at the Jean Grey Institute how to be a beneficial member to society and not Darwin/Hitler in a clamshell. So this portrayal in the end credits pretty accurately matches how he'd look as a child.

I can't wait to see how he's portrayed in the next movie. Will he be fully armored? Will he have Nathaniel Essex helping him perfect the horseman-making process? Will Jean be allowed full use of her power against him as another knock against X3? Will some dead mutants be brought back as horsemen? Banshee after all was a horseman too.

Channing Tatum will be playing him next apparently. And the movies are always deviating from who-does-what in the comics so he may or may not become one of the horsemen.

I'm disappointed in how Apocalypse looks. He looks nothing at all like what I remember from the comics or the cartoons. Hopefully he will change into his more recognizable look.
