I began exercising my 2nd Amendment rights this year with a Mossberg 500 and Colt 1911.
YES! Good man! Those are great guns. I'm still saving for my next acquisition.
What do you have so far? I got my Mossberg in the summer and my 1911 just a few weeks ago.
2 Mosin-Nagants(a 1930 and 1944 model), a Winchester 12 gauge, a H&R 16 gauge, 2 short .22 Colt Centennials, Mauser C96 in 7.63mm Mauser, a reproduction Walther P38, and an Keltec SU-16CA. Thinking about getting a Sig when I can safely afford it.
Quite the collection. Next up for me is some sort of AR-15, but that's a few months off.
Thanks. I wish I could get an AR-15. Damn CA laws...
TN's a lot more lax on gun laws than CA. Hell, most states are, but still.

Simple question, what thing you did/accomplished in 2011 are you most proud of? I can proudly say for myself, I finally managed to quit smoking.
Good work man! No easy feat!

I have two, I lost 3.5 stone (49lb) and did a Masters in Classics.

Me? Accomplishments? lawl

Really though, I've begun trying to live as honestly as possible without having any skeletons, and it feels pretty damn good. I guess if that counts as an accomplishment. I also try to help people out, but I hardly consider that an accomplishment.

That's awesome, congrats. I practice basketball and have been stuck on a weight for a while. I hurt my shoulder and i was told to rest from sports for 6 months (About two have passed). I thought i would gain a lot of weight if i stoped exercising but i haven't, so i guess that exercise wasn't doing do anything for me. I'm not overweight but i have stubborn middle body fat.
Thx. :)
The rules i live by are 3 simple ones:
1. Get rid of sugar and/or keep sweet things to a minimum in general, esp after eating something normal and after midday. If you cant live without chocolate, eat it in the morning. (Yuck :p)
2. If working out, its better to do it for 90minutes 2 times a week rather than 30minutes every day. Sad fact is the body starts burning fat only after about 20-30 minutes. If something you do only lasts for 45minutes then do a quick walk through your local area beforehand. I mostly walk to the supermarket for example rather than drive.
3. I cancelled out all noodles and bread from my daily life. I'm sticking to meat, vegetables (exception: no potatoes) and fruits (exception: no bananas) now. That and milk products like cheese (if not too fat).

My girlfriend gave me her pussy!

Her cat gave birth to two kittens and she gave one of them to me. Now Krogan and I shall rule the world!

Congrats on the quitting; my husband is going to try to stop the end of/beginning of the year (waiting for his patches to come through the mail). Hopefully it'll work for him; I can see how giving up a lifelong addiction could be difficult.

My accomplishment was changing careers. I was in the newspaper industry for eight years and got tired of being screwed over repeatedly. I'm alot happier with my 'new' job (been there since April); hours are awesome, I work with great people, I enjoy what I do, and I actually got a raise last month! I was going on four years at my previous job with no raise and THREE paycuts (they blamed the economy; whereas I blame the management). I worked in the casino gaming industry before (about 10-12 years ago) and it wasn't terrible; it was just I couldn't see being there for the rest of my life.

Lost 30 pounds in a month, with no exercises and with shoulder pain, and by the end of year I'll be fully rehabilitated after my shoulder surgery.

Also I finally told my parents I'm atheist.

Got a job as an accountant and passed my first six exams (it's a training position) with flying colours. Life isn't too bad at the moment!
