Getting cross at "losing the game" is a meme in itself.... I used to play the game back in the 90's, back when the internet was just porn and Star Trek.
Its basically a game whereby you win by not thinking about the game, so the minute someone mentions The Game, you lose, so you can't win it, because the thought of winning makes you lose. I DO, however intend to follow the generalized rule-set of The Game, and inform others of whenever I lose.
I, personally, may not take The Game seriously, and follow it mostly as a means of watching others reactions, but if I intend to take any part, no matter how miniscule, in it's playing, I will play the same way everybody else does.
