Also I live in Madison Alabama. We have Redstone Arsenal like 10 minutes away at a leisurely drive. So I'm prolly good.warrcry13 said:I'm good where I'm at my cousin who is currently living with us has quite a few guns. So we wait for a few days till everyone evacuates, and start looting neighboring houses for all our supplies. If the neighbors are still there we either avoid them or take it by force. And to keep vehicles from getting on our road we just barricade the entrance of our road. We live a steep slope so the only easy vehicle access in the street.
Why is my captcha making me type Choose DISH? I had dish once I didn't like it. Rain or random cloud=goodbye signal.
As a north Perth CBD resident (and stoner); we have discussed this many times. You would find small communities would most likely turn away most refugees, there are a few gun shops but 99% of all zombie plans include them. On the plus side, due to urban sprawl the ZPM (zombie per meter) would be low... you know unless you live in Maylands. Oh, but if you lived in Maylands you could put on a cardboard box with a large pop-tart decal on either side and pretend to be Nyan Cat. All the guys in rainbow clothes chasing you...Corax_1990 said:To avoid at least some silliness, clarify a few points;
1. What kind of zombies we talking about here? Sprinty 28 days later zombies or the more traditional Romero-esqu slow but harder to kill/never die from starvation type?
2. Has it reached a point of global infection (infesting every major city with over a million people for example)?
I live in Western Australia, not really short of remote areas to go to, I'd probably gather what family and friends I could find, raid a hardware store for weapons and a supermarket for food then haul ass to the closest country town (probably a three hour drive to one that is small enough to not have been hit yet) and reinforce its buildings along with the locals.
Plus you could drop the more shittier books onto the heads of zombies a floor below or, worse comes to worse, use them as kindling for a nice fire.FelixG said:OT: Library with two floors and destroy the stair cases.
You laugh now, but a library has massive amounts of useful information that will not be available other ways once the power grids go down.
well, i'll panic, wake up everyone else in my house, and the neighbors. grab some knives and other blunt objects (like some golf clubs and wooden swords), grab the canned food, and hoof it out to the suburbs. from there, we will plan a better staging point to hold out until the military wipes out the zombies, because there is no way in hell the US military, with the support of the national guard, and the well armed police forces of every major city (one of which i live in) will be incapable of killing every single zombie on this continent and then some.Lumber Barber said:Stay in my house and panic and go insane.
Which, by the way, is what's gonna happen to most of you too.
Haha I came here to say this! No zombie would last for long down in south London, or some parts of north London either.Stasisesque said:I watched Attack the Block last week, and realised part way through that a zombie apocalypse simply would not affect South London. The kids portrayed in the film were so true to life, and their reactions to weird shit happening on their block were uncanny.
I could state with almost 100% certainty, that any zombies wouldn't last more than an hour down here. The kids in this area are resourceful, fearless and territorial. I wouldn't trust the army to react fast enough, but I'd put my life in the locals' hands.
The only problems I foresee are looting. I don't have a weapon, there is no way to get a weapon and I'm tough but not tough enough. I'd survive the outbreak, only to die from starvation.
