Brink is the only game on that list I'm even remotely interested in. That being said, it doesn't come out till next year, so I'm not worried in the slightest.
and out of that list is there any of them that isn't a sequal? Brink can be excluded because I dunno about it, but the rest?

OT None of those seven games are even on my radar, I don't like FPS, Dead Space was dull and I've been burned twice already by Fable.
The only game on this list that looks worth playing to me is New Vegas, and I already got that preordered...
That entire list caused me to "Meh" subconsciously so hard that it suddenly became a conscious thing and took over my kitchen.
Amazing? None of those can hold a candle to the last actual amazing game that's coming out this year, Civilization V.
Force Unleashed 2 is debatable but I'd sooner buy that than any of those games. You also missed Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood which is sure to be better than any of those as well.

Brink is a FPS, and you say it's the only non-FPS coming out. What makes you think it's going to disappoint if you have no idea what it is? Then you have Gears of War a few lines below it, and last I checked that's not an FPS.garjian said:

I have it easy on this one...since Gears isn't coming out until next year only two of those games are on my list...Reach and New Vegas and I already pre-ordered them...New Vegas I didn't even have to pay for since I traded in some games I was never using and got more then enough money from that to pay for it.

In all fairness that was directed more along the lines of the other titles in that list such as true crime or gothic IV. I respect cataclysm is highly anticipated. But I stand behind what I have said many times before. Blizzard absolutely fudges their sub numbers. Again I respect WoW is certainly one of the largest if not the largest subscription bases,and while it might be close to it, I believe Blizzard is telling the truth about 11 million subs just as much as I believe Jagex reporting over 100 million subs for runescape.
None the less, 2010 has actually been great, Im glad the summer drought is almost over. This is gearing up for a great gaming holiday season, perhaps the best yet. A bevy of anticipated sequels to dominant franchises, A couple of new IPs that show potential and a wide enough variety to meet practically any gaming niche. While trying to get back on track to the OPs thought of is this a bad idea releasing this many games like this. No, I think the people have come to expect nothing less. Im just glad to see the industry trying to meet that demand instead of just phoning it in. I honestly doubt it will hurt sales.. at least not this year, perhaps next year when we get accustomed to that level of output and if they cannot exceed that expectation.
