I want to thank everyone for watching our show, and I hope you all enjoy what is to come. You're all invited to check out www.therewillbebrawl.com for the extra videos and wallpapers and forums.

I also want to bring your attention to an important fundraiser I'm taking part in, which you can about on our front page. It goes to a great cause.

Thanks, again, to everyone!

Awesome, I'm pleased with what I see- with what I hear too, the music played in a minor key is simply superb. Can't wait to see more!

In direct response to that, Wanderer, please check out our main site where we have additional content that will fill the time between main episodes as well as allow us to fill out details we didn't have time to put into the main narrative. Plus we have rad wallpapers! Just copy and paste this bad boy: www.therewillbebrawl.com

Yeah, I have been checking the main site every few weeks (I kinda feel like a nerd, lol). The additional content has really helped me fill in a few of the blanks and appreciate the intricacies of the show. Kudos, Great job to the whole TWBB team.

P.S. Am I allowed to ask what date the next episode is due and if there is a projected day of the month subsequent episodes will air?

P.P.S. the wallpapers ARE rad, lol

I don't think it even needs the funny factor.
I would watch this if it were a straight Nintendo based drama

Seconded.

I thought it was supposed to be funny but am pleasantly surprised that it's more of a dark, gritty drama, and entirely ridiculous at the same time. The actors are great - the only thing that needs changing is the Princesses' eyebrows (They're way too dark for a blonde... It makes her look... bleh...).

You guys did Kirby (LOLWTF!?) so well that I can't wait to see Sonic and Fox.

Can't wait for the next episode! (Will there be one??)

The next ep is indeed on the way. I'm looking forward to everyone's reactions, some people have been waiting six months for it!

This really wasn't funny, with the exception of the part with Kirby.
It's not supposed to be funny; It's a Drama not a comedy.
the description said "There Will be Brawl is a darkly humorous mini-series satirizing the classic game heroes..." so I expected some dark comedy and with the of Kirby in the end (which wasn't even really dark comedy), I did not not find it funny.

So Dynex, do you always let video descriptions rule your opinion, or is this bad habit something you picked up recently? :p

All told, it's not comedic because of the performances, but rather in *spite* of them. Purely as a narrative, this seems to be played entirely straight as a noir murder mystery. A pretty interesting one, at that. What makes it humorous is that the character choices are inherently absurd. And what makes it impressive is the careful, almost meticulous way those characters were incorporated into the story. Kirby's appearance at the end is more of a sting-reveal/homage than the punchline you wait for at the end of a joke. In that sense, it would rather you smile in devious understanding, as though in on a conspiracy, than simply laugh outright. Though the latter certainly wouldn't be a negative, it's also not specifically what this video was striving to do.

That's my interpretation, anyhow.

"WHERE" WILL BE BRAWL??!!?!

I thought they would be posted on a monthly basis...Hasn't it been a month? Wasn't there talk of episode 3 already being made? We've been waiting for-fucking-ever already!!!

Also, the whole series might as well be stillborn if you guys don't hype it up. It might be a little late, but get the anticipation to a fever-pitch! I can't tell you how many people I reminded of this that said "oh shit! I forgot all about that!" You don't even have a front page "coming soon" feature...

For shame...move your asses

You're all retarded. Remember the bit with Phanto and the key? Wario and the mushroom (lolwut)? Ice Climbers as psychotic, fugly little bodyguards? The plumber jokes aimed at Mario? The music alone is downright hilarious. Lakitu reading the news even made me chuckle. Never mind the fact that the whole thing is just so fucking absurd...Kirby as a cannibal?! This fucking thing is RIFE with dark humor and you're a dumbtard if you don't think so

Ah, I understand. Because I don't automatically share your sense of humor it means I'm a dipshit. Gotcha.

The whole absurdity of the situation is funny but without any real jokes it grows old fast. The beginning may have livened a chuckle or two but after Luigi arrives at Mario's house the shtick has gotten stale. And no, I don't agree with the Wario bit; I don't think it was done well.

All the time. How do you make your daily decisions?

I understand why you and others here find it funny and I understand what the video was about. I'm simply stating that I did not find it funny and going into it, based of the description I read, humor was the primary thing I was expecting.

SEE!!! It's these kinds of arguments that arise when episode two is nonexistent!
