Frankly speaking - if I'm in a changing room, I will be naked at some point while I change - that is a given fact. and if I forget my shampoo in the shower, I will not get dressed to go back and get it - especially if I've taken my shower and changed out of my swimming trunks. Now, I will carry a towel along with me, but if some manchooses to walk around naked in the men's changing room - its not my place to tell him to cover up - that's just rude!

I do believe you should go back to watching Naruto. It seems to teach amazing life values.

Being honest a 7yo kid isn't that aware to notice the shape or size of a man's penis and differ it from it's fathers.Every kid sees his own parents naked and it's well before the point where it goes shy about such things.

Honestly, I don't see a problem with nudity in changing rooms. Sure, I wish it was more "private" in the sense that I don't like being surrounded by naked people walking around, as I get changed as quickly as I possibly can. But still, it's a changing room, you knew the risks going in. Be prepared to accept that fact that your kids are probably going to see something.

Personally though, I wouldn't be caught dead at a nude beach or something similar. Sorry for being such a Bible-thumping prude, but I really have no desire to see everyone jiggling and flopping around having fun on a beach. Yeah, it's gross and my young, innocent eyes do not want to witness that.

so youre annoyed that there were naked people in a room where you literally get naked in public, then put on less clothing than before? they shouldnt have been walking around naked, thats pretty stupid, but it just shows two more similarities between old people and young children: they dont give a shit about nudity.

My only response to this thread is that you need to grow up?

"OH MY GOD! You saw a penis! You are now gay!!!!" I think the bible said so.

My mother used to take me swimming with her at the college pool when it was open, and we'd always change and shower with all the other women. Never bothered me a bit, and I was around 7. The only thing I remember being notable was that one of the female lifeguards had an amputated forearm which I was curious about. Mom told me it was impolite to stare.

I'm not sure I'd ever want to be naked on the beach, though. Not because I'm shy, but because I just don't want sand all up in there, if you know what I'm saying. But I DO have exceptionally sensitive skin.

Nudity is a terrible and unnatural thing that children should not be exposed to.
Breasts and penises are filthy lies and young ones are so impressionable. What if they get it into their heads that everyone has genitals.

What if one saw a bum and realised everybody poops.
Yeah, I have to agree with them. Maybe their head will explode because of seeing someone's penis
lolololol...

The pool itself (all of the bikinis) is more inappropriate than that...

Changing rooms are CHANGING rooms, you CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES in them. How are you supposed to change into/out of a swimsuit without being naked.

How sheltered are you to have never even been in a school locker room after PE?

Not saying the OP is a troll, but if it were I would have to give him props for the perfect execution of it. I think I'd have to agree with you.

I went swimming yesterday and in the changing room there were loads of blokes walking around naked. It doesn't bother me that they are doing that but, as it was a Sunday, there were a number of children in there too, around 7 years old or so, and the blokes that were walking around naked had nothing to do with the kids (E.G wasn't a parent). Someone also said that there was a woman in the ladies changing room walking around naked while a young lad was in there.

People shouldn't be walking around naked when there are young children around, even if it's a changing room. If i walked around my garden naked and my neighbour's young children saw me i would probably be arrested for it. What do you think?
This is so crazy that I barely know what to say. Children should be protected from knowing what human bodies look like?

People walking around naked in a completely sensible place with absolutely no sexual overtones are not a threat to children. This is insane.

This is the most remarkably Puritanical and illogical complaint I've seen in a very long time, possibly ever. And I'm from a very conservative area, growing up alongside a lot of very religious, very Puritanical folks.

I truly, truly hope this is just trolling.

I've never really thought nudity in front of children was bad. with strangers, i might be a bit weird about it, just cause its a stranger. Or if someone started remarking about the nakedness.

now personally, I was always shy about being naked in front of people. mainly cause i put men to shame even at the age of ten I was always just weird about people seeing me. especially once I got to high school and middle school, I would always shower after gym in an extra pair of underwear/swimming trunks.

Pretty much this.

Honestly, I don't see the problem.
Apparently it doesn't work like this in the US, but in Norway people are naked in the public showers. Imagine that.
I mean, who'd want to be naked when they take a shower, right?
Also: When a mother is taking her young son to the swimming pool or something, and she's given the choice between letting him try to navigate through the men's changing room and shower alone or taking him with her in the ladies' changing room and shower, she will normally take him with her in the ladies' changing room and shower. Even though there are naked ladies there.
Strange, huh?
Sick. Disgusting.

And furthermore, lots of parents will let their kids run around in the house and back yard naked. Indeed, my parents did. I even bathed with my sister.
Truly disgusting. Makes me sick, thinking of people who have a natural relationship with their bodies.

lol @ OP.

It's a swimming pool changing room. Of course there are going to be naked people. It's mind boggling that you would find this offensive. Not to mention your children probably don't give a shit about people being naked in a changing room.

Also, a male should not be in the female changing room, and vise versa, so that topic is moot.

I'd rather not myself, even though I can imagine little children don't really care. Especially with friends around. It's not like I'm specifically ashamed and I would do it if I had to, I'd just rather not.

OP, I feel your pain. I also know what it's like to be a never nude.
And for all of you sarcastic bastards:

But really? People get naked to change clothes. Get over it.

I think there should be a separate changing rooms, one for those who want to be nude and the other for those who don't.
This, keep it to yourself if that is what the sign says. You are free otherwise.

And OP: You would be arrested for being nude in your own garden? WTF?! and where the hell do you live? If I wanted to have an orgy in my garden, I'm sure there would be no grounds for arrest, even if all the children in the suburb saw. Your garden, you can walk around naked, why is the child looking over your wall?
But what if it's the childs wall?

I'm behind you OP. Changing rooms are immoral and should have no part in society. People who need to get naked momentarily before putting clothes back on should be doing it in PUBLIC damn it!
YEAH!!!...wait what?

It's a public changing room. You get naked there. Thats the point.
